In the early -- very early -- hours of the next morning the large parchments had been changed, written under words of the barmaid in town of a different scrawl, a bit less pretty but atleast it was legible.
Stable Hand - Hired
Gaurds - More queries welcome, please see the parchment behind bar to see guide lines.
This of course would not put aside the one hired and the rest who were looking to fill, though if people were to be curious and look for the parchment behind the bar, written in good script, akin to a usually sloppy male scrawl:
- Rules of a gaurd -
I - For full payment, -must- work four hours a day.
II - Must be able to use a blade or a form of defense of some kind.
III - Must abide to rules seen in 'Detail of a gaurd'.
- Detail of a gaurd -
I - No fighting in tavern from any patron, verbal warning first, if they do not listen, you -must- step in the way to try and usher outside and then make sure no more fighting will continue after the tiff if you are to let them -back- in the tavern.
II - If -any- staff member is touched unwanted the person that assualts is to be removed from the tavern for one day, if they do so again they are to be removed -with force- and reported to the gaurd of the town for assualt.
III - At no time shall a gaurd be physical unless verbal warnings are ignored, if harm is ment upon a gaurd then defense of their person is permitted, hand-to-hand is desired in this, but if a patron pulls a blade you are free to defend your life if you must.
IV - Any gaurd hired will wear uniform when they are on duty, this will be a cloak of red with gold trim to signify and make you stand out as a gaurd, as a protector. If you feel you must not stand out, you are not fit to be a gaurd. Payment for uniform will come out of the first week's wage.
- And below there there was a closing statement from whoever wrote this -
You will be tested in some manner, and you will be considered upon a sound discretion. When you are ready to take your test seek out Mikhail, the one-armed bartender and he will see if you are fit, mind and body.
-- Broken Dagger Staff
---- OCC explination ----
No, you character doesn't have to stand around and be silent and such for the time you rp your gaurd character, they are only bound ICLY to the rules of what is posted, if a patron breaks any of them, then your character must act, if not your character will be held responsible -ICLY- for it, you do -not- have to RP fours hours as a gaurd to have this role, just assume -- if hired -- your character does, though it would be nice if they were in uniform while they are rp'd just to be known that the tavern is gaurded while you play. These are -not- law men, they are bound to the law and will have to awnser to any violence they must use from the town gaurd, they are more bouncers then anything to make sure that the rules set forth by the owners are enforced; -no violence in the tavern-. If a staff or gaurd must use violence it will -only- be following the rules set forth and that is all. Thanks everyone who is intrested and I hope to see you IC.
