The morning had found the governor awaking alone. A smirk on his features as he rose. This was becoming some sort of odd competition between the two, who could make it out of bed before the other awoke.
After finishing up the paperwork for the payment for the extra work of the Straka guards with the water drop the day before, Altias left a note upon his door.
~The governor is currently in Myrkentown, seeing about the building of a new shop. Should you need him, please leave a message at the meeting house.~
The carriage he had commissioned to take Treadwell home the night before was once more put to use, in taking him to the town proper. It would roll to a stop in front of the vacant lot next to Tready's Toys.
The governor would step from the carriage with a large sign, painted in pink and light blue. With a grin, he would pound the sign into the ground in the vacant lot.
"Future Home of 'The Sweet Truth' Bakery and Sweet Shop."
A skip in his step, the governor returned to the meeting house to begin testing recipes.
