A letter to the Office of the Captain of Myrken Wood Prison

It has come to the attention of the Judiciar that the detained, henceforth known as Arrik Singh, should no longer be held prisoner to Myrken Wood. Orders are to release Arrik Singh to his own recognizance upon immediate receipt of this letter. Do not delay this pardon for a most major crime of murder. This decision after serious scrutiny of matters brought to the attention of the Council Myrken Wood by the Good Barrister Iancy.

It seemed the governor held great concern for the welfare of an unfairly jailed 'hero' of the cell block. A model prisoner, indeed. The missive was hurried to the Office of the Captain and orders were encouraged that the prison act immediately.
The governor would not have such a worthy man caged for another day to lie on his conscience.

He was, frankly, quite dubious of the Governor's noble intentions. They might have seemed so, but after months of -seeing- Phuri in action, he was inclined to believe that someone had wheedled the man into believing this Arrik needed to be set free. It could have been anything from blackmail and threats to honesty and actual caring.
He did not know, and though the temptation to gaze into Master Arrik's eyes was great, to discover the depths of his character and return bearing information worth having, he decided that it was his -duty- to obey Phuri, to a certain degree, and calmly gathered together a pair of guardsmen, and headed towards the Gaol.
Captain Rayin Taliaferro, bearing Phuri's letter, and his two men, decided to pay a visit to this Arrik... To discover, if nothing else, what sort of man was being let off of a sentence for murder. Plus, he had a mind to do a little investigation...
He was not, you see, immune to the knowledge that some of his guards were participating in what was becoming a popular hobby... The Captain saw a little too much, with wet-earth brown eyes gleaming gold and gazing straight into the heart of matters...
(oocly, sorry for the delay in reply. didn't even notice this bit 'til today.)

Did you ever wonder what happens when there's dirt on the "Bat Signal?" It wouldn't even look like a bat anymore. Maybe they'd accidentally summon a superhero named "Misshapen Blob Man." I bet he weighs 900 lbs. and comes in the "Misshapen Blobmobile." And the cops go, "Aaah! Clean the lens!" And his theme could be the Batman song at about 10 R.P.M.
