Wanted: one painter well-skilled in the art to fashion a family portrait of me, my wife, and our children. Meals, lodging, payment for services, and payment for supplies will be fairly rendered. Ask within.

Within the first hours of the sign's hanging there, one of the few educated children who've read it in passing has started spreading the word snidely to his friends. The consensus among them is equally simple. "That's going to be a lot of paint!"
