Mason, along with Sawyer, came to Myrken Wood to seek help in turning back the attack by Zayken upon Kanpar Village. Mason was a no-nonsense soldier who led heroes from Myrken back to the plagued village. However, upon arriving there, Mason revealed himself to be a Zaykenspawn and attacked the party, leading to his death.
