Trilby
In a world where evil Things always appear when you least want them to, Trilby has found a home. The creature, for she is certainly no normal woman, has a knack for ill-timed and unwanted arrivals. The tavern has twice felt the weight of her dragon-self crouched on its roof and the porch and internal workings are often witnesses of her games.
Humanoid Appearance
It's quite easy to find her if you know for what you're looking; the woman has a distinct appearance, being slender to the point of painful, as redheaded as a matchstick, and covered in a variety of tattoos on her back (the most important of these is a six-pointed star with a slashed line through it, from top to bottom, between her shoulderblades), hips, face, and legs. Two pairs of matching scars stretch amid her tattoos from the top of her shoulders to just below the shoulderblades and from her waist to very nearly equal with her tailbone on either side of her spine. Another, far more wicked-looking scar stretches from her chin to her collarbone on her right side. Her eyes are both blue, though the left (with dripping lines tattooed beneath on her cheek) has long since been ruined. It's merely a mishmash of white and iris, the pupil a lopsided hole that opens to useless, damaged nerves. This is, entirely, the fault of Elil. --Aisu 21:31, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
Malwei Appearance
As a dragon, Trilby is far more impressive than as a woman, and far more frightening. Slender, with jutting ribs and hips, she sports two pairs of wings that line up with the scars on her back. The first pair sit high on her back near her shoulderblades and are considerably smaller than the lower pair. They're used for steering instead of actual lift. Unlike a traditional dragon, drake or wyrm, Trilby's wings are feathered and structurally very similar to a bird's. The feathers themselves are copper-red along the joints and a dark gold along the edges. The feathers themselves have a bright, hard sheen
Similarly, her flesh is a very pale gold-cream color that has an equally bright shine to it.
Her ears have several spiral-horns protruding from the edges so that they can stretch and collapse-- the right side has one broken off at the tip. Behind her ears, along her jaw, and running from her forehead to her tail is a stiff mane of coarse, thick hair. It acts as a very crude sort of armor, but did little to keep Mikhail from removing the end of her tail. --Aisu 21:31, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
Past Encounters
Trilby arrived in Myrkenwood looking for a small child with dark curls, a rather strange little pony, and a nastily sharpened tongue. Ariane Carnath-Emory and a grouping of cavalrymen managed to drive the dragon away, wonding her in the process, and saving the child. Since then, it seems that the beast has held a grudge and pursued Ariane on multiple occasions. In one such meeting, Ariane was aided by Kerrak al'Nerun, another by Eriks DeMord Sleipner and finally another by Mikhail and Elil.
In the altercation involving Mikhail and Elil, Trilby destroyed the stairs and a good portion of the tavern's porch with her transformation. She suffered several injuries, however, including the destruction of her left eye by Elil. Her tail's tip, as well, was cut off by Mikhail. It has, since then, partially regenerated, but still lacks the tuft of fur at its tip common to malwei.
In later encounters, Trilby faced Ariane alone and was the victor, inflicting several broken bones in exchange for a damaged wing and bleeding tongue. After this small battle, Trilby took to picking on the former student of Ariane's, Agnieszka Kaczmarek. She attacked the girl after an argument with Braddock and Bryce Larose stole from the girl blood, beads and a blade and left her wandering with bruises, broken bones, and a battered ego in the woods. --Aisu 21:31, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
Currently
At the moment, it seems that Trilby is content to wander the woods and town in stolen clothes, flaunting Agnieszka's father's prayer beads and her dulled, dirty blade. Her goal is still to face down Ariane, once and for all. Her plans continue to be thwarted by others, however, who also seem to harbor grudges against the woman. --Aisu 21:31, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
It seems that the sword has come to an untimely demise. Trilby was seen with it before Agnieszka reclaimed the broken tip. The rest of the weapon remains in her unholy grasp for the time being. --72.181.231.5 02:41, 13 July 2006 (EDT)
The interactions with Ariane of late seem to have taken an unusual turn; Trilby has been spotted drinking with her usual enemy and conversing life, death and other topics that most would not consider the Malwei woman capable of. She now sports a lovely cut across her left palm from Agnieszka Kazmerak's sword after a small disagreement within the tavern commons. It was disrupted by Elil and no serious injuries were sustained by any parties involved. --Aisu 02:44, 3 August 2006 (EDT)
