Doctor David D'Rael has returned to Myrken Wood and the Edificium, with hopes to turn back the Bloody Flux again.

Janessa has been bitten by a wasp carrying the Bloody Flux. As the sole person in charge of making the treatment for the disease, the Rememdium Edificium is put in a very awkward, if not outright dangerous, situation. Treatment of the Flux now rests completely on the talents of young Bryce Larose and Raziqa and the treatments that have already been produced.

After Janessa rather swiftly fell ill to the Bloody Flux, Bryce Larose attempted to heal her of the disease as he surreptitiously has so many others in the past week. Unfortunately, something went wrong-- an unexpected backfire of energies. The rather suprising survival rate of the Flux this time around may make a drastic turn for the worse.

The Paladin Cecil Ritter, has been patrolling Myrken Wood in the wake of the swarms of plague-ridden insects, carrying people to safety and sometimes miraculously saving others. Many have nicknamed him the 'Holy Man', and many rumors and stories are spreading of his deeds.

Myrken Wood has been swarmed by a sudden pestilence of insects that have devoured everything from butchers' meats to the grain in storehouses and bakeries. Most everyone has suffered insect-bites; for some, these bites have been fatal. Among them are the pitch-black wasp-like creatures larger than a grown man's thumb that many say carry the Bloody Flux.

The leadership within the ranks of the Children of Darkness has shifted from the legendary Undertaker to that of an unknown entity. Rumors whisper that a new coterie has risen from the endless depths of the night to seize the rights of ownership over Myrken Wood. It is required that those who call themselves Kindred (or "vampires," as per foolish mortals) announce themselves to she who would be called Prince.

Coriolanus Helstone has been elected to the Judiciary Council as the Councilor for Administrative Sanctions. No actual vote took place, which had been commented on by individuals, including Helstone himself.

Bea Kanaya, an elderly citizen of Myrkentown, was murdered in her bakery. The word "BELIEF?" was carved in the back wall near her body.

Broken Dagger tavern guard, Elil, fearing exploitation of the Inn's stores by the unwashed masses during the unnatural and unexplained absence of Inn proprietress, Molly O`Neill, and her betrothed, Mikhail, has removed all alcoholic beverages from the bar and locked them in the basement. Kitchen items and other beverages are still available.

A fancy turban-wearing man who goes by Govidam in a deep purple robe is going about town, bartering and trying to sell his wares to all that he sees. This includes, but is not limited to.. clothes, weapons, jewels, gems, silk, panes of glass, gold, pearls, paper, papyrus and that of a goat, ink, writing utensils, spices, herbs, hour-glasses, water-clocks without the water, his horse, the boxes in which he holds these items, some polishes, hats, salted foods, chocolates, jewelry, and a pair of cyclopse skulls, primly cleaned, washed, and shined to whiteness.
