Description

A former traveling circuit judge in Amasynia for much of his life, Langley moved to Myrken Wood in recent years, finally taking up residence with his sister, Elizia, and their "baby brother," Aloisius. Once slim like Elizia and their mother, Marian, he quickly gained a great deal of weight on joining the fold of the Church of Tubbius, ending up around two-thirds of his brother's monumental girth. As of his ascension to the role of Tubbius Princeps, he has grown a set of the Rings of Tubbius from the flesh of his belly, connected to the fact that on a spiritual level, visible only on the Plain of Tubbius, a fatty umbilical connects him to Tubbius at the stomachs of both deity and man, serving as a direct conduit between them of the energies that provide Langley with his now eternal lifespan and good health. As for clothing, in the past, he would have favored the simple black judicial robe he wore with the accompanying powdered wig. Now, however, Langley wears his Tubbian attire almost constantly, showing complete devotion to the Church and to his brother after encountering the Great God.

Background

Origins

Langley, like his siblings and parents, hails originally from Westenford, a port city overlooking the cliffs of northern Amasynia. Both of the older siblings moved to Myrken Wood to join Aloisius and his family.

The Broken Dagger

The former judge and devoted Tubbian tends to stay far away from the Broken Dagger, not really understanding his brother's enjoyment of the place.

The Present

Before his ascension to the post of Tubbius Princeps on May 1, 217 AR, Langley would stay at home with Mrs. Alice Treadwell and the family children. However, with this new responsibility, he finds himself spending much more time with his spiritual brothers and sisters at the church building in Myrkentown. He is also beginning to feel what his younger brother refers to as "The Hunger," a physical representation of a direct connection to Tubbius.

Plots

As a non-player character, Langley only holds significance in plots pertaining to the Church of Tubbius and the Treadwell family.
