The Olsmith family owned and farmed a fairly large amount of land just down the road from the Broken Dagger tavern. They were attacked and slaughtered in early July of AR 206 by members of the mercenary Nightmare Company, and their home was burned to ashes.
Members of the family included:

- their eldest son, Jimmel,
- their middle son, Joffrey,
- and their youngest son, Tom Olsmith.
