Cowardice (or Beldro) is a semi-sentient axe of obvious drow origin - heavy in the theme of bats, spiders, and skulls. It is seemingly carved completely from obsidian, with only the faintest of spiderweb design layed into the stone - the only other ornamentation being a pair of garnet stones set into the skull centerpiece's eyes.
Oddly enough, Cowardice seems to have a particular score to settle with drow in general. It has been witnessed both absorbing and deflecting magical attacks, garnering basic information about a person through their blood, and allowing it's wielder to Shadowalk. It also may, at times, temporarily control it's wielder to give him or her an extra, definite edge in fierce combat.
Cowardice is currently in the possession of one Reagan Biske.
