She used to be a well-respected member of her community. She was once a happy member of a colony of cliff harpies. Alas, she is an outcast now, and she doesn't like to say why.
For some time she lacked the means of doing such menial tasks as opening a doorknob, given the fact she has wings rather than arms. Thanks to the kindness of a stranger and his friend, though, she acquired a seashell amulet which now allows her to take the form of a platinum-blonde beauty with blue eyes and porcelain skin.
That doesn't make her any less of a target for those with poultry on their menus, though.
