The Myrken Militia
An organization of farmers, merchants, and craftsmen; they volunteer their arms, and their lives, in the defense of Myrkentown.
Organization
The Militia is loosely based upon an actual army; save for the fact that the highest 'rank' is sergeant, and the man (or woman) who fills said rank is voted in by his troops, and can just as easily be removed by them in extreme cases. The man with the final word is General Eriks DeMord Sleipner, their titular leader and 'General' - simply because he has the military experience, and willingness, to command such a force. Brotherhood of Janeiro
The Militia and the Brotherhood work together closely; the Militia bolsters their numbers when they are needed, and the Brotherhood provides training and arms (as well as the Lothbury Estate).
