April, 2006 -- Current Events

  • Locals may have noticed some changes over at the Rememdium Edificium. Doctor D'Rael has left Myrken Wood to return to his homeland, and now the hospital has been left in the hands of his nervous, but dedicated workers: Janessa, Bryce, and Raziqa.
  • Following the destabilization of Myrken Wood's government in the past half year, the Order of Straka has effectively disbanded with the resignation of Captain Thomas Daniels. Councilor Kerrak al'Nerun has been quick to pick up the pieces, introducing the Brotherhood of Janerio to take Straka's place, even taking in Straka guardfolk who still wish to serve.
  • Notes and signs have been popping up all over Myrken Wood speaking out against Myrken Wood's political leaders as well as the current governmental situation, including the disbanding of the Order of Straka and the coming of the Brotherhood of Janerio; the notes have all been signed "People of Myrken Wood."

March, 2006 -- Current Events

  • The Broken Dagger has been host to an unseen creature for the past few months. Endless numbers of 'zombies' in the likeness of others have been attacking patrons and tavern staff recklessly and without any other obvious cause than to feed. While no apparent headway has been made combatting the creature, a group has come to learn a means of combatting It, lead by Arcadia Silverwind. 3/21/06 - Submitted by Rattrap
  • Drow have appeared in Myrken Wood in great numbers in the recent months. They have attacked the town at large on multiple occasion, including a night raid and the poisoning of Myrken's children. They have been more frequently active in the Broken Dagger, where officials like Councilor Kerrak al'Nerun and Captain Thomas Daniels have tried to stop them, without success. Among the Drow's new faces is that of Myrken's long-thought-defeated villain, Audmathus. 3/21/06 - Submitted by Rattrap
  • Myrken Wood's Council has been quiet recently, with only Councilors Kerrak al'Nerun and Giscard Guillaume active. Suede Roschen is evidentially in hiding after accusations made by Captain Thomas Daniels, Altias Bromn is believed to be dead (much more strongly, this time), and Aloisius Treadwell is rumored to have turned into King Richard Aengus, the Fairy King of New Hiberia. 3/21/06 - Submitted by Rattrap
