The heat begins to break. Late-summer storms frequent [[Myrken Wood]], turning the roads to wastelands of mud. Farmers look forward to the harvests, knowing that this year's yield will be sparse, but welcome nonetheless.

* [[Crown]] troops, encamped in Myrken Wood since May, have begun construction of a fortified enclosure close against the east side of [[Myrkentown]]'s encircling wall, apparently meant to house a Trae Kelsan garrison once the main force has departed for the front in Derry.

* [[Agnieszka]] Kaczmarek has been seen around town working with the Militia in Ariane's absence.

* A number of people who used to attend church in town now travel to a small hill outside Myrkentown, where an outdoor church and a number of structures are being built by Dominik Kaczmarek. Interestingly, all of these people are farmers of Dauntless heritage.

* Two newcomers to Myrken Wood -- one Rosalyn Lovine and a young woman that goes only by the name of Mercy -- have recently started their employment at the [[Rememdium Edificium]]. Likewise, they may be found around the Broken Dagger when they are not tending their new duties.

* Jule Mitchell, interim administrator at the Rememdium, has instructed attendants in his employ to deny future admission to Noura the wildling, citing the danger she poses to innocent patients within its walls.
