* Unnatural [[Avel]], chosen champion of the goddess [[Lloth]], is slain by the hand of priestess [[Faeryl]]. One week later, the priestess convenes a meeting of certain notables upon the shore of the [[Silver Lake]].

* Fifty-eight men, women and children are discovered murdered gruesomely, each in their home or business. Rumours of a [[drow]] menace are confirmed by [[Faeryl's Claim]] -- a piece of parchment written upon with blood, and hammered into the door of the [[Governor's Meetinghouse]].

* The [[Brotherhood of Janeiro]] immediately recalls its men from posts in the field, co-ordinating with [[The Order of Straka]] to establish patrols about [[Myrkentown]]'s outskirts.
