 Until recently the Larose farm was much smaller, and it wasn't until Zane Larose inherited the farm from his father at an unexpected early age that things started to pick up. He had recently wed to Maris, a kind young woman from town, and when she moved out to join him on the farm they both were ambitious enough to put a lot of time and energy into improving things. They decided to have a large family, twelve children in all.
