-Also, inspired by [[Janis Williams]] and her efforts at understanding shadow-walking, D'ran has installed numerous lanterns and candles in and around the Broken Dagger with the purpose of eliminating shadows, ultimately inhibiting the use of shadow-walking for entering the tavern.  The lanterns and candles are kept constantly lit, but have been extinguished on occasion by unknown causes, much to D'ran's frustration.
