Description
Razmig is a dwarf of the Sikasoon Mountains, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He is broad shouldered and barrel-chested, with sinewy arms and thick, meaty hands. And though he is only a few inches above four feet in height, his dense physique means he weighs at least as much as a human adult. He keeps his thick golden hair and beard fastidiously groomed and neatly plaited at all times. His skin is deeply tanned, though the area around his eyes remains a paler shade because he wears protective goggles when working with molten metal. He favors practical, durable clothing suitable for a day's work. His favored footwear is a pair of stout boots with steel toe caps and shinguards. When working in his shop, he wears a leather work belt with a multitude of tool pouches, or a heavy leather work apron when working at the forge or iron furnace.

Background
Origins
Razmig hails from the dwarven stronghold of Dhal Darom in the Sikasoon Mountains. He learned the human tongue during excursions with his clan into Wrexham to sell goods or work on contract for the human aristocracy.

He tends to be evasive about the reasons behind his abrupt decision to leave his ancestral mountain halls and become an entrepreneur. It may or may not have been precipitated by an indiscretion with a nobleman's wife, but regardless of the reasons, he doesn't use his clan or family name any more. The war between Derry and Thessilane made him look further afield for a new place to call home, and he eventually made his way to Myrken Wood.

The Broken Dagger
Razmig arrived in Myrkentown in the 9th month of the year 214, and purchased a disused outbuilding of the town grist mill. He spent nearly six weeks converting it into a smithy, and officially opened for business on the tenth day of the tenth month. He has poured all his savings into this endeavor, and sold off quite a few of his possessions, as well.

The Present
Razmig is the proprietor of the Hammer & Tongs Smithy, located on the southern edge of town along the mill stream, hard against the city walls. He knows that trading on the reputation of the dwarves as master craftsmen will only get him so far in attracting business to his shop, so he is actively looking for contacts who can help generate business for his shop. He crafts weapons and armor, as well as iron and steel tools and household implements.
The Sikasoon Mountains form part of the borders between Derry, Myrken Wood, New Dauntless and Thessilane.

Long respected as the craggy domain the Dwarflords, their long and lingering decline and tendency to introspection and aloofness have sent men carefully exploring these imposing mountain ranges. Recent years have seen the humans of the lowlands increasingly daring - some might say brazen - in their exploration of the Sikasoon Mountains. The long and inexorable decline of the Sikasoon dwarves has left many of their mountain halls empty and abandoned, the sprawling networks of subterranean chambers surrendered to the deep darkness and the creatures that lurk therein. Enterprising humans have made efforts to clear and reopen some of these ancient Dwarven workings, picking over mines whose yield was deemed inadequate by their precursors, yet still offers enough to justify human toil.

This is not to say that dwarves are entirely departed - they yet inhabit a handful of their most well-defended strongholds, and have a longstanding (if pragmatic) relationship with the province of Derry, having historically gifted the rulers of Wrexham with intricate machines or weapons of keen Dwarven steel.
Those who are less adventurous settle instead for tapping the iron and coal deposits in the Sikasoon foothills. The town of Wheldale serves many the mines of the Iron Mountains, a small spur of the Sikasoons, and the ore gleaned is taken to be smelted in the foundries of Ashmund and Kilnley. From there the ingots are shipped to the forges of Minehead to be crafted into tools, implements and weapons, or sold in the metal market of Foggy Bottom.
