JINNI MARIE DARDEN

Born in Trae Kelsa's capital Razasan.... Jinni Marie Darden is the only child of Earl Matthew Darden, and his wife Marie, at least as far as the general public is concerned.... very few know the truth of her conception and birth.

As an only child Jinni had a priviledged childhood, for while she learned all the skills befitting a lady of the court should know she was also educated. Able to converse on philosophy, history and a number of other subjects. Her passion though is in needlework in all its forms, from fine tapestry creation to the making of lace, or the sewing of garments.

What brought Jinni to Myrken was a search for a woman called Evelyn Monteclare... well Evie as she was more commonly known. What made her stay after evie had moved on was she had seen a need for a good seamstress, and tailor, and saw an opporunity to make a life for herself, free from her fathers shadow. She loved him dearly but had always wanted to prove she could make it on her own ... well without a husband, for Jinni was in no rush to be married.

Reaching a hieght of 5'6" Jinni is slender but not skinny. Rich raven tresses fall in gently curling waves to the curve of her hips and are tinted with scarlet. Gaze a deep brown is flecked with traces of shiny emerald, these flecks spark when she is angry. Skin is a creamy pale fawn and without flaw, the barest trace of blush in her lips. Favoring well made but simple gowns she is normally a quiet presence where ever she goes, and is rarely see without her sewing basket hanging from her elbow.

A recent change in her life is the renting of premises on the corner of ravensridge road and Haberdasher's row. This she is going to turn into her shop, in which to ply her skills with a needle. She has even selected a name already Stitch`n`Time, and she now lives above this, for much of her time is spent in getting it ready.

Stitch 'n' Time

Situated on the corner of raven's ridge rd and haberdashers row Stitch `n` Time is a quality clothing store, run by Jinni Marie Darden, a seamstress and tailor, who's exceptional skills will likely have her well known in realtively short time.

A quaint two storied affair, with the shop downstairs and living qaurters above, it suited the lady for her chosen profession.

Heavy drapes frame the view in through the window..... Counter and cutting table, polished and yet still showin signs of use, of scarring, swept a wide arch across the breadth of the back right corner, fold down sections effectively hemming in whoever was behind it. shelves lined the back wall towards between the left-hand corner and the door that opened into the back and though once empty, fabrics of various types and a myriad of colours were neatly stacked upon them. The store room that was to the right of the kitchen of course held more bolts, but these were the fabrics she consider to be special, rare. on the right as one entered through the door, where several comfortable chairs and a sofa with small tables... for the comfort and use of customers. fittings could be trying affairs after all. The only thing one couldn't see however, were the stairs now, for a door had been placed in the alcove frame that housed them, a door with a lock, and this key was kept in jinni's pocket the door itself always being locked when the shop was open.
