Rattrap, or Ratt, Ratty, or even RT is a once-ubiquitous fellow who's been hanging around the Broken Dagger channel for too long. He started playing in the channel when he was but a wee lad at thirteen years of age, and has continued playing well into his adulthood, until he became largely absent in 2007 due to becoming a real boy. He had enjoyed making multitudes of characters, many of which were spammed onto this Wiki as empty templates to be filled in 'later' (ha).
Ratty started roleplaying at seven or something like that in an AOL channel called Beast Wars RPG - there, he learned how to type really fast. He then moved onto Battle.net and strange, wholly unregulated roleplays there - such as the infamous Town Square. There he lurked for probably too long, learning how to put periods and such at the end of sentences. Then he got to the Broken Dagger, and learned proper English. He spent many years chuggin' out characters and worked hard to make Myrken Wood's setting come alive. He created the Rememdium Edificium, helped Mongrel to create Statsbot (claiming maybe 20% of the credit...if that) and at one point even held the post of Co-founder though that struck him as rather odd (and flattering!) at the time.

RT is studying full-time and working an internship in Germany, all in German which he barely understands. This coupled with a 6-9 hour time difference to the US sadly means he doesn't see the Broken Dagger more than once a rare blue moon. But he still loves the place dearly! He likes long walks on the beach, parenthesis, zombies, fluffy animals, Statsbot, and cheesecake...and terror.
There isn't much known about the woman who calls herself Athena - she recently came to Myrken Wood and hasn't had much interaction with anyone else. While it isn't clear what her agenda is, there is something to be said for a person who happily comes to Myrken Wood in light of all that has happened.

Appearance
Athena keeps to herself, physically. She's yet to be seen without her coat which is obviously too large for her, concealing her figure. The coat reaches down to her thighs, where loose-fitting pants usually takeover - the remarkably unattractive kind one might see combat Monks usually wearing. Still, despite unflattering attire, she manages to be a beautiful woman. Athena is graced with smooth, healthy skin untouched by scars and dark blue, intense eyes. Long, glossy black hair pours over the leather coat and long slender fingers add to what little flesh she shows.

Athena stands just a little under six feet in height.

Other Description
Athena has a few notably odd qualities - the first of which being that she keeps four swords on her person. Mixed, at that - a longsword, a falchion, a scimitar, and a rapier. None of the blades are sheathed, either. They hang freely, two on each hip, to clang against each other at their whims.

History
Athena worked at the Broken Dagger on and off when she was in town, though it is unclear if the management knew about it. She was also almost a participant in what would have been a tragically violent mix-up during the hunt for the Baie.

Exterior
The Rememdium Edificium is a low, squarish single-story building some hundred feet from the Broken Dagger. One can view the entrance to one building from the other, and vice versa.

The Edificium is sunken back from the road enough to permit a half-decent yard; there is grass to be seen, at least, with a barren dirt pathway extending off the road although most in haste simply trample the grass. There is a tree in this yard, half obscuring the Broken Dagger's far side from the entrance of the Edificium. Other windows will find different views blocked at different angles respectively.

The tree in question is a large, old oak. Large enough to overshadow the Edificium quite easily; it keeps the building especially cool in the afternoon, shading a good portion of the building.

The roof of the Rememdium Edificium is a simple pyramid shape, low and sharp in its angles. There's not much height in the center point, but it does its job -- preventing water build-up and the subsequent problems that such a condition causes.

The door to the Edificium is centered in the main entrance room, which means it's off-center from the outside, as there is another room that shares the front of the building. Three windows also occupy that face -- two in the entrance, or foyer, and another in that other room -- the storeroom.

Interior
The foyer is a large, relatively plain room. Wooden chairs dot the wall shared by the entrance, as well as two landscape paintings that were an attempt to put some feeling of serenity into the room. They are fairly large paintings, but perhaps misplaced in such a large room. A wash basin occupies the wall opposite the door.

In the far left corner of the room from the door, there is the doctor's office. It's a square room with no door, but a doorway facing not at the original entrance, but facing right - the walls are also cut away as if to place in windows looking into the foyer, but no windows were ever installed. It was finished that way, providing no barriers for the doctor to pass through if severely injured folk came in. It's probably the most decorated room: a large desk sits in the center of the room, with a chair on either side of it. The one opposite the doorway, obviously the doctor's, does not match the others - it looked far older, more worn. A bookshelf rests against the wall on the door's right, filled with large volumes of what-have-you in, for the most part, Common -- but a few are written in Elvin dialects.

Finally, two painted portraits are nailed to the wall, some place out of the way -- one shows a naturally beautiful Elven woman, the other portraying an angelic blonde woman.

The room sharing the front wall with the foyer is also squarish, like the doctor's office, however considerably bigger. There are actual doors to this room, one joining the foyer and another joining with the hallway that runs along the outer right side of the building; the foyer also has a doorway to this hallway, several yards left of the one leading to the storeroom. This one has no door.

The storeroom is, naturally, just that - a room for storage. Shelves line two of the walls, covered in vials empty and full, with varying colors. A table rests against another wall, usually covered in plant and herb crushings. An accompanying chair is tucked under it when not in use.

Spare cots and chests containing spare clothing are in the final corner. Tools like bandages and dagger shavings have their own shelf dedication, at a level that is easily reached.

The hallway, wrapping about the outer right side of the building, turns down to stretch around the backside of the foyer. From this stretch come three doors, which subsequently lead to three uniform rooms.

Accommodation and Precautions
Each room contains two raised cots, a couple of stools, and table containing similar emergency supplies as the storeroom. A window is on each available outer wall, meaning two for the rooms at the far left and far right, and only one for the center. Blinds are available for all of them.

Each room of the Edificium has a hole leading to a duct, all of which lead to stove built into the back wall of the building on the outside; a large stack of firewood is almost always piled nearby in case of specifically cold days. All one has to do is start it burning, add in fire wood and close it, and the heat would channel through the rest of the building -- most of all to the three rooms, as they have more proximity than any other part of the building.

History
The Rememdium Edificium was constructed in early 203 with the bulk of David's leftover family fortune. It was originally constructed mostly to relieve the many injuries that occur in or around the Broken Dagger as well as Myrkentown at large. It has since grown to serve a larger populace, often filling the building's physical capacity.

The Edificium was greatly damaged in an attack directed at Aerithya Silverwind, where a kobold loaded with explosives walked into the building and detonated. While nobody was seriously injured, it was some time before the building was repaired and services restored.

It has since sat unchanged save for those who work there, with the exception of an addition of a greenhouse as recently as 208.

Robert Sullivan was a Corporal with the Order of Straka, rarely seen without his partner and life-long friend Thomas Daniels until they later parted ways after the disbanding of the Order. He then moved back to Derry with his daughter. Gruff and often testing the limits of acceptable treatment of criminals, Sullivan was never high on the list for promotions, though he did earn recognition for his efforts in protecting then-Governer Gad Phuri.

Appearance
Sullivan stands respectably just under six feet in height with a broad, solid brawler's frame with a chin and jaw to match. He has dark green eyes and darker brown hair which is always cut short due to his virtually life-long career as a guardsman. Like anyone in his profession for any length of time, Sullivan has a good number of scars to show - leaving his already somewhat less than handsome visage to be even less so. He often remarks that it is fortunate that his daughter got her mother's looks.

Other Description
Despite what his build may suggest, Sullivan is a surprisingly agile individual, thanks to steady and consistent training over decades. He favors bucklers and wonders why they aren't standard issue; a small piece of metal can make a huge difference.

History
Born May 25, 176.

In Myrken Wood
Robert came to Myrken Wood from Derry with Daniels when they were just youths, after the murder of Thomas' parents. They lived on their own, just old enough to survive - when the chance came to join up with the Order of Straka, the two boys jumped at the chance and would remain among the guard ranks for some twenty years.

Robert and Thomas were paired up by request and worked their way from the ground up, doing everything from horribly boring Meetinghouse guard duty to the more scenic patrols - not necessarily in that order. They experienced much - battles with monsters outside the Broken Dagger with Elil and Victory, the same tavern full of hosility as they extracted the boy Phlynn through a window (their only means of escape due to said hosility).

The most interesting thing to happen to Robert in his time in Myrken Wood was the abduction by the creature simply known as Memory. The Corporal was taken along with Aloisius Treadwell, who at the time was still impersonating the late Governor Gad Phuri. They were held in a subterranean cave for around a week or more, in an oddly...civilized manner. Their host fed them and never threatened them, and even gave Robert a mystical sword he came to name Mythragolddamus - which infused the Corporal with the ability to detect the presence and sometimes even the surface thoughts of wolves, as well as other, more drastic transformations. They were eventually found and saved by a Straka rescue party, including Captain Alexander Kanashia and Daniels.

As time wore on, Robert found Myrken Wood was simply too dangerous to raise his daughter, Serena, and stepped down from the Order of Straka to leave Myrken Wood for his hometown in Derry.

Outside Myrken Wood
Daniels and Sullivan were born in a small town in Derry, not as brothers. Robert was an orphan whom Thomas befriended at an early age - so much so that Thomas' parents decided to adopt Robert, and though they never called each other by it, Daniels and Sullvian treated each other like brothers for the rest of their lives.

Both boys were interested early on in swordplay, often play-fighting with wooden swords. When they were old enough, they eagerly took up the sharper, more dangerous swords and trained under a Sergeant in the local militia. Life was good for the boys, until the day Thomas' parents were killed in a bandit attack.

It happened during a parade - the bandits had slipped in in all the commotion, assaulting people in the chaotic crowd - including Thomas' mother. While his father fought back savagely, he was brought down by the opposing numbers. Thomas was shot as well, dragged away to safety by Robert.

After that day, the boys left Derry for Myrken Wood to start over.

Current Status
Robert is living in Derry with his daughter, Serena and enjoying the peace and quiet.
Thomas Daniels held the position of Captain of the Order of Straka for a number of years in Myrken Wood. His time as Captain was rather chaotic - he always tried to uphold the law to the word, even when (especially when) such decisions were highly unpopular with citizens and other officials of Myrken Wood. Forces in the Judiciary Council especially resisted his authority, ultimately leading to his resignation and the disbanding of the Order.

Appearance
Thomas is a picturesque soldier or guard; standing noticeably above six feet in height with hazel eyes, Thomas is built to fight even if his personality is far from brutish. He has blonde hair, usually cut short as per his profession and a handsome demeanor despite the many scars one earns from living by the sword. A failed attempt on his life while Captain of the Order of Straka left him with only one arm, though it is fortunate to be his dominant one.

Other Description
The ex-Straka Captain has always been handy with knives. Particularly throwing them, though he has no reputation for it (and for the better, to surprise his foes!). He began carrying around a set of throwing knives much more often after losing his arm as his swordsmanship suffered from the change of balance.

History
Born May 5, 175.

In Myrken Wood
Thomas and Robert Sullivan both joined the ranks of the Order of Straka as young men. They often worked together as partners and slowly climbed up the ranks to Corporals. One night during a Council meeting, they pair had Meetinghouse duty and were ordered by the Council to immediately apprehend the boy, Phlynn. After this, Thomas began garnering attention from the Councilors and the current Order Captain, Alexander Kanashia. As time went on and Kanashia planned his own resignation, he recommended that Thomas take up the station as Captain - despite being outranked by many in the Order. But, the Council all agreed and so began a more difficult task.

Over his short years in the office, Captain Daniels publically disagreed with many on the Council, especially the Governor, Altias Bromn. As one might imagine, his popularity with the Council wasn't much, and his popularity with many of the locals took a hit when he arrested a group outside of the Broken Dagger for a number of killings, including the bartender Mikhail and Altias' own bodyguard, Ariane Carnath-Emory. Their trial took place and, naturally, the Council dropped all charges.

The most difficult time for the Captain started when Thomas discovered a connection between Councilor Suede Roschen and the infamous Black Market. The Captain launched an immediate investigation which resulted in a number of 'subtle' counters - including an attempt on the Captain's key witness, Sill Darridan-Babtista, the brutal dismemberment and killing of Sergeant Jack Hickensen, and the slow death of funds being redirected away from the Order of Straka which ultimately culminated in Thomas' resignation and the Order's demise.

Though the Barracks has been taken over by the Brotherhood of Janerio, no one's sure where the evidence Thomas had acquired against Councilor Roschen is.

Outside Myrken Wood
Daniels and Sullivan were born in a small town in Derry, not as brothers. Robert was an orphan whom Thomas befriended at an early age - so much so that Thomas' parents decided to adopt Robert, and though they never called each other by it, Daniels and Sullivan treated each other like brothers for the rest of their lives.

Thomas left Myrken Wood following his resignation to return to Derry and find some peace and quiet.
RT is looking to study engineering somewhere in Germany after spending a number of years doing not a heck of a lot in Europe (he grew up in the PST timezone, you see). He likes long walks on the beach, parenthesis, zombies, fluffy animals, Statsbot, and cheesecake...and terror.
Doctor David D'Rael is a man known for his solid judgements, his disdain for violence, his true neutrality in everything from personal to political matters, but most of all, he is know for being the good doctor. In David's time in Myrken Wood, he has developed a certain renown for his skill with a surgeon's knife and knowledge of herbs and potion-brewing.

Doctor D'Rael has worked tirelessly to bring better health to those that have had the misfortune to visit the Rememdium Edificium, sometimes performing what some would call miracles and more often just lending a hand to the will of survival.

But David hasn't done it all alone - along the way, he's had dedicated help from Aerithya Silverwind, Bryce Larose, Janessa, Raziqa, and Arcadia Silverwind (coincidentally sharing the same last name as Aerithya) - even, at one point, employing Jirai for a short time, along with many others who came in times of need.
In Myrken Wood
Years ago, a younger Doctor David D'Rael had found his way to Myrken Wood purely by chance. He wanted to get away from Bolgardia, though he knew he would always return - in fact, there was to be a conference of others in his profession there once every year that David would attend...every year. In the woodland territory, the Doctor saw a great beauty - and terrible perril. It wasn't long before he became familiar with some of the legendary fights that happened in the Broken Dagger, and being professionally opposed to those fights, David felt he needed to do something about it.

So he bought the land across the road from the Dagger - positioned with two advantages: so close to the violent tavern, and one of those first buildings travelers would see has they made the long trek north. David was not rich, though through his father's wealth he could have been. He did have a fund, however, which was almost entirely spent taking down the building in that lot and constructing the Rememdium Edificium in its wake. For the next five years, this is where David rested and worked, tending to the sick, injured, and otherwise illed.

Not all was quiet at the Edificium; David was joined by Aerithya early on, who was a great healer in her own right. However, she came with a haunted past - one that didn't leave the Edificium untouched. Many things happened in that hospice - shadowy creatures threatend to pull people into the ground, a suicide bomber demolished much of the building, Aerithya was kidnapped - David even stood up against the Drow Audmathus, though no fight ensued. Fortunately, for the good doctor.

The Doctor even died outside the Edificium, struck down by his vengeful brother. He bled to death, even as others rushed to aid him. His death was brief, however, as he was carried away by a strange individual to an even stranger locale. Ymir had followed, witnessing the ressurrection ritual which had lasted hours into the night. The period afterwards - with new life - was a period of darkness and dangerous confusion for David D'Rael. He had almost even killed during that time.

But that too, passed, and from it, a new man. One much more appreciative and learned from his past.

Aerithya's kidnapping, too, had been an interesting situation. David was torn between his noncombative status after having taken up his profession and the simple need to rescue the Elven Healer from hostile territory. In the end, David took a weighted middle ground, brewing up a sleep agent that the Drow would have been proud of, and moving on the Tivalti Estate with Dhugal and Jason Heldenbrand to rescue her. They were successful, and David, too, at only once entering combat against a magical, elemental construct guarding the Elf.

In time, the Edificium was rebuilt with the help of Myrken Wood's residents, and Aerithya parted ways and David found new help, briefly in Arcadia, and longer in Bryce, Janessa, and Raziqa. When urgency had called David home to Bolgardia, the Edificium was left and charged in the hands of those three.

Doctor D'Rael could only hope the urgency would be brief.
It serves many of the injuries that occur in or around the Broken Dagger, as well as Myrkentown proper and some northern parts of Heath easy access.

Beside the light wooden, unlatched door sits a dagger-carved plaque that reads "All Are Welcome".
* Doctor David D'Rael (currently missing)
* Nurse Fairwell
* Samariah Blackmore

Born April 6, 171.

The Rememdium Edificium sits just across the North Passage Down from the Broken Dagger tavern. It's a relatively small building, often strained by large demand for its services. It serves many of the injuries that occur in or around the Broken Dagger, as well as Myrkentown proper and some northern parts of Heath easy access.

Beside the light wooden, unlatched door sits a dagger-carved plaque that reads "All Are Welcome".

The Staff
( As of 11:13, 18 February 2008 (PST) )
* Doctor David D'Rael
* Nurse Fairwell
* Samariah Blackmore

Rattrap, or Ratt, Ratty, or even RT is a ubiquitous fellow who's been hanging around the Broken Dagger channel for too long. He started playing in the channel when he was but a wee lad at thirteen years of age, and has continued playing well into his adulthood (which is less than a month as of this writing). He had enjoyed making multitudes of characters, many of which were recently spammed onto this Wiki as empty templates to be filled soon (ha).

Since, he's been chuggin' out characters and hard at work to make Myrken Wood's setting come alive.
RT is a Computer Science major in his first year o' college, and evidentially needs to learn .php and .css, according to other demanding players. Likes long walks on the beach, fluffy animals, Statsbot, and cheesecake...and terror.
Janis Williams is a hard-working woman and always has been. She took up the sword with the Order of Straka when she was old enough to, and trained with them until the day they effectively disbanded under Captain Thomas Daniels. She was one of the many that shifted uniforms over to the Brotherhood of Janerio afterwards. She's skillful with a blade, though she enjoys no particular reputation for it.

Somewhat of a recluse, Janis spends much of her time studying and practicing the Arcane Arts, for which she's developed a particular affinity for. She has been consulted on occasion about the uses of magic, particularly during times of great danger in Myrken Wood.

Appearance
The ex-Straka Corporal isn't a picturesque guard; she has a thin, feminine frame, and a height not exactly inspiring terror into the hearts of evil. Her profession has made her fit, though she is neither remarkably strong or dextrous. She has long, dirty-blonde hair, dark green eyes and soft features. There's a subtle, but strong beauty about the woman - if her reclusive nature wasn't a hindrance, Janis would have likely found a husband by now.

Other Description
Janis' studies have been centralized mainly in the Evocation and Abjuration magics until the heavy Drow presence, which prompted the woman to seek out shadier abilities. She has no hopes of attaining the power Coran D'zir or Neimad have, honing her talents simply for her own personal growth and her duty as a guardwoman to protect the innocent citizens of Myrken Wood.

History
Born June 13, 177.

Janis has shown herself to a be a resourceful woman, finding her way on many strange investigations and tasks for the Order of Straka - including the personal safety of the late Joseph O'Cynen during the time when the Baie was rumored to have targeted the Councilor.

Fortunately, unlike the former Captain Daniels, Janis has stayed discreet in her dealings around the Broken Dagger and other highly anti-Straka areas, hardly earning the recognition of those who frequent those places, let alone the ire and sour reputation many officials enjoyed.

Current Status
Janis can now be found haunting the halls of the Library of Mudd on a permanent basis as the librarian.
Dante was a fanatical individual bent on ridding the world of Drow and their allies. Somewhat of a nomad, Dante wondered from place to place throughout the lands heedlessly hunting the dark elves; he was also a rather sadistic individual, often torturing Drow when he had the chance, and more often keeping severed parts to keep as trophies, including necklaces made from Drow teeth.

His weaponry matched his brutality; Dante was ever fond of battle axes, later using a short-handled axe for maneuverability. In Myrken Wood, while hunting the Drow Jirai, Dante came upon a powerful magical crossbow originally belonging to Damien that eventually killed him.

The unique dark power that made Dante so dangerous was the reflection of piercing attacks; when one stabbed or shot Dante, Dante's flesh acted like a portal into his enemy's own body - an enemy stabbing him in the stomach, for example, would feel the blade pierce their own instead.

Dante's final confrontation happened in an abandoned building in Myrkentown. He had kidnapped Suede Roschen as bait for Jirai. A fight occured between the three, joined by Ariane Carnath-Emory who fired the killing blow from the magical crossbow - a massive block of ice that struck the Drow-hunter dead.

He served on the Myrken Wood Judiciary until his dying day as the Councilor of Agriculture, often as a voice of reason and logic amidst all the beauracracy.
Joseph inherited most of his land and good sense from his father, Theodore O'Cynen, a Myrken native who passed long ago. Joseph, himself, was born in Myrken Wood, though he left for a few years in his earlier years to persue opportunities elsewhere. He eventually returned to Myrken Wood with his wife, and together they had three children: Stephen, Jacob, and Ariel. Stephen and Jacob left the farm and Myrken Wood when they came of age for other persuits, leaving Ariel to follow in her father's footsteps.
Joseph died during the unnatural darkness that plagued Myrken Wood under suspicious circumstances; no evidence or suspects were ever found, leaving Ariel as the sole heir.

Until recently, Barret Ritter fit alongside Cecil Ritter as a picturesque Paladin - but recent discoveries have shaken his faith in the Zorlin, as well as the very views with which he holds the world. These new beliefs caused Barret to abandon the Order and flee the country, in search for some sort of evidence or power he could use to convince Cecil of his new truths.

Barret is more personable than Cecil, being more flexible with his sworn duties and finding more grays between the black and white.

Appearance
Barret has strong, but unpronounced features - high cheeks, a narrow, cleft chin, flat (as opposed to glossy) blonde, a straight nose and emerald green eyes.

Barret is tall and lean, though his decorated armor makes him appear much larger. A breastplate attached to a couple shoulder guards bears the Zorlin insignia, only to repeat twice more on the hilt of his blade and on the blade's sheath. The plate is of a lighter type. Hard leather, cut and creased so as not to hinder movement covers the rest of his torso with reddish-brown hues that continues down to his boots, which were matched to the dark gray of the plate. A dark emerald cape completes the outfit. He wears no gloves; just smooth wrist guards that hold down the loose ends of the chain mail running down each arm from under the shoulder plates.

He is a fitting visage of power, protection and faith that came with the armor of a Zorlin Paladin, though he's recently hid his armor in safe keeping to help him avoid his brother, Cecil.

Barret looks to be somewhere in his early to mid forties, and looks very much like Cecil.

Other Description
One of the key components of the Zorlin training - starting from birth - is the extrordinary ability to 'hear' the vibrations of solid weapons (and other similarly sized solid objects). Along with this training, every Paladin is given an Oricalchum Blade when they come of age. The Blade is a thick sword, suited for stabbing or defending than slashing or cutting. Along the flat sides of the sword are some type of geometric runes.

The Oricalchum Blade was specifically engineered so that, coupled with the abilities of a Zorlin Paladin, the Paladin can strike his own sword to start a vibrational tune within the blade that will destructively interfer with the target weapon - resulting in that weapon's destruction on contact with the Oricalchum Blade. Those of the Zorlin Cathedral simply call it 'the technique'.

Though older Paladins have gained the ability to hear the songs of such weapons, the Blade's target range is only twice its own size or smaller and doesn't work on complicated or wooden weapons.
History
Born May 25, 176.

In Myrken Wood
Robert came to Myrken Wood from Derry with Thomas Daniels when they were just youths, after the murder of Thomas' parents.

Milo Lirrian had a sterling reputation; he was known as one of Myrken's finest. But reputation aside, he was one of Myrken Wood's finest. So he would let you know, when you did business with him - and many may already have. Ever needed to send a package or letter with the utmost confidence that it would reach its recipient? Milo was your boy. He wasn't the finest courier in Myrken Wood for nothing! That's right - it didn't matter if you were Suede Roschen battling conspiracy charges against the Order of Straka, or even Audmathus himself, Milo would get the package delivered. Though he would personally prefer avoiding direct business with Drow, as they seem to have a habit of random violence.

Appearance
Thomas is a picturesque soldier or guard; standing noticeably above six feet in height, Thomas is built to fight even if his personality is far from brutish.

History
Born April 6, 171.

Ariel O'Cynen is the only daughter of the late Joseph O'Cynen, and the heir to his estate. Though one of three children - the sister to two brothers, Jacob O'Cynen and Stephen O'Cynen - Ariel was the one the follow in her father's footsteps, and Jacob and Steven insisted she take over the estate. So, she did.

Though Ariel is young, few dispute her courage and wisdom. It's not hard to see that she was given her father's wisdom and reason - the same that had on more than one occasion stirred a tumultous council meeting back on track, or rallied the people of Myrken Wood in self-defense.

Appearance
Ariel is a small, strong woman. Though she has picked up her father's attitude, it is much more her mother she gets her looks from. She has beautiful, soft features - considering her status, Ariel could have easily just been a pretty noble, untouched by work or duty. Her hands, however, though small, are well-calloused and bear a scar or two from the learning days of the more dangerous farming tools. Though far from the size of Joseph O'Cynen, Ariel has benefitted from the years of intense labor on the farm.

Not yet seen thirty years, Ariel is a odd mixture of youthful energy and solid wisdom - these are the first qualities depicted in those eyes of hazel that matched her father's. Framed in golden-blonde hair, Ariel O'Cynen is a pretty woman and a beautiful farmer.

History
Born August 1, 180.

Ariel was born in Myrken Wood and has lived her whole life within its borders. She has traveled to the some of the neighboring territories, but infrequently and never for long. She's been farming since she could hold the tools, under the careful guidance of her father - now, few can say Ariel O'Cynen puts any less effort into the soil than they.

Ariel sat in for her father in a couple council meetings, usually with a similiar voice. Under the shadow of her father and even in his passing, Ariel has been building up a great reputation and respect among residents of Myrken Wood, especially in the farming community. Many have come to see her as a solid, respectable voice for the people.

Current Status
Ariel is active in Myrken Wood's farming community, putting most of her energy on keeping agricultural aspect of the territory alive, despite Myrken Wood's constant plagues and hauntings.

Damien is an interesting fellow who has visited Myrken Wood on several occasion. He's a man of many things - most notably, greed. And trouble making. He had been known to be charming on rare occasion, but more often than not Damien spends his time in persuit of big payoffs or epic battles - especially the battling part. He loves fighting more than anything else, and won't hesitate to jump right into the fray.

These two persuits combined have created in Damien a Dragon Hunter, and a rather successful one at that.
Appearance
Surprisingly, Damien is awfully short. Standing at just around five and a half feet tall, the lithe frame of the little man hardly strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents. The way he smacktalks usually just makes them angry, too. He's otherwise pleasant to look at - unpronounced features, a straight nose, a narrow chin usually framed with a clean-cut beard. Damien has short, straight brown hair and just off-matching eyes.

With the success of his hunting ventures, Damien has taken a liking to dragon scales - usually in the form of custom-fit, made-for-maximum-movement armor with the brilliance and flair of the majestic beasts' scales. He's also taken a liking to necklaces strung with their smaller teeth, and other trophy-esque proofs of his accomplishments.
Other Description
What's remarkable about Damien is the weapon he's most fond of - the ranseur. A six-foot one, at that. While utilizing a polearm that's taller than the wielder even in close-combat situations seems awkward at best, Damien pulls it off perfectly. An expert with the weapon, the man can utilize the ranseur like two weapons in combat, and has also been known to use the polearm in acrobatics that, especially in the close quarters of the Broken Dagger, are pretty amazing.

Though Damien has spent his life in the mastery of the ranseur as well as the flexibility in his own body, there is clearly an element of the inhuman in his movements - he moves almost as if inertia simply wasn't acting on him, reversing the direction of his attacks without hesitation, like a mystical dance.
History
Born July 6, 183.
In Myrken Wood
The start of Damien's Dragon hunting career began in Myrken Wood, just outside of the Broken Dagger - a young pup had wandered into Myrkentown, and Damien capitalized - killing the creature and taking the remains to sell. When he realized the small fortune he had made on just a small dragon, Damien knew it was the business he needed to be in.

The rogue was also active in Audmathus' first venture on Myken Wood. He sought out the Drow, though, unlike the rest of the population, not to apprehend or kill - but simply to fight. Damien tracked the Drow's movements for sometime, eventually coming to save the Drow from the guillotine's blade - destroying the apparatus with a shot from a magical crossbow that Damien had had constructed earlier. The rest of that fateful day was history - the rogue had fired from a rooftop just next to the watching shadowdemon, Pharris, in plain view of a significant number of guards from the Order of Straka.

In the resulting chaos, and with the aid of others, Audmathus escaped. Damien was shot and tumbled off the rooftop, not to be seen again for a while...
Outside Myrken Wood
Damien is a well-traveled individual, having gone all around the land - certainly all around Amasynia. One of his less successful - but certainly interesting - ventures was to the islands north of the peninsula, where he met the rather strange crew - Roland Darkwater, Stella Luna, and Nikolai.
Library of Mudd Page
I threw up a page for the Library of Mudd, created a new category 'Books', and threw in subsequent pages for the books people have written stuff for on the forums. Let me know what you think! Rattrap 13:07, 22 June 2006 (EDT)

They don't display anymore. As far as I can tell, I'm using the same code that Rance is using for Alli's page. O Wise One in all Things Codey, can you help me?
*Which pages are you talking about? --Mongrel 10:18, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
**Specifically, Athena, Thomas Daniels, and Janis Williams. Neimad's was the first to go, but I assumed then (only have one page with a linked picture) that the site hosting the picture had taken it down, or somesuch (I removed the code for the picture on that one).
***The images are appearing when I go to those pages. --Mongrel 14:54, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
****That's odd. They haven't been appearing for other people - and I can only see them half the time. I tried looking at the pages in both IE and Firefox, and no luck; if you look at them and hit refresh, are they still there (that gets rid of them for me)? --Rattrap 15:27, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
*****No change. They appear everytime I refresh. *shrugs* --Mongrel 15:59, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
Timeline
I threw up a question on the Anno Regalis page, but I figured I'd ask you as well: would prior to A.R. simply be Before Regalis, B.R.?
