'''Mongrel''' started his venture into online [[free form]] [[Role-Play|role-playing]] in 1994 on [[Prodigy]].

His very first character was a [[vampire|vampiric]] Scotsman named [[Schmitty MacLean]]. The character was originally meant to be as cheesy as his name, but as time went on the character grew serious and so did Mongrel's interest in RP. He was surprised how emotionally invested he could become with these characters and was very excited to create more.

One of the highlights of Mongrel's early RP career was when he was invited into the royal family of [[Delium]]. He was asked to play [[Jarrad Rose]], the uncle and surrogate father of Queen [[Chantaclair Rose]]. Mongrel later went on to play [[Telveran]], the High Judge of [[Vescule]], ruler of the [[Kingdom of Darkness]].

When Prodigy died, Mongrel migrated to web-based, bulletin board RP like [[WBS]] and [http://www.communityzero.com CommunityZero].

It didn't take long for Mongrel to find [[IRC]] and when he did he worked on creating his own RP channels, like the [[Faded Myth Inn (channel)|#Faded_Myth_Inn]], which was based in the world of [[Jehanum]]. However, he became much more interested in IRC scripting and the creation of bots. It was then that he started to program [[Pritchard]].

After a brief RP with [[Wendy]], Mongrel and she became fast friends. So, when Wendy took over the [[Founder]] role for [[Broken Dagger (channel)|#Broken_Dagger]], it was a no-brainer that he joined her team. Although Mongrel had basically retired from RP at that point, he still did cameos now and again.

When Wendy went on hiatus, Mongrel took over the Foundership. He helped run the show for a while until Wendy said that she would come back. It was then that Mongrel decided to sever his ties with [[IRC]].

Judiciary Council

The [[Myrken Wood]] '''Judiciary Council''' is the local governing body of Myrken Wood. Although the Council is technically supposed to answer to the [[Trae Kelsa|Trae Kelsan Crown]], it has been granted a significant amount of autonomy. The Council is chaired by a quaint number of selected officials, is comprised of the land's independent lawmakers. While Myrken Wood is considered to be the heart of the Amasynian province, expansion into local government was found to be necessary.

The Council, meeting at scheduled times each week, hears and decides on a great number of Myrken Wood's land laws. In addition to governing the woodland, the jurisdiction allows that the Judiciar (and his council) may deliver sentences of punishment for those who do not abide all governing laws.

==Procedure==
While its primary concerns are for matters associated with taxation, properties and funding, the council will hear all proposals of its citizens. Queries will be answered in scheduled order at all public meetings, and concerns addressed. Judgements will be won by popular vote of all seated councilors.

In the event that the council is without decision, the Judiciar will determine the outcome of any number of public concerns.

The Council also functions as both judge and jury, in cases of lawlessness. Council-appointed barristers may represent any who fall under Myrken Wood jurisdiction, unless a person wishes to represent himself or herself. A trial for conviction may be necessary if all parties responsible for the mistreatment of justice do not concur.

Any person(s) responsible for the purposeful misuse or abuse of Myrken Wood law will be tried, without question, and potentially convicted by the Judiciar.

==Succession==

Upon the death of a Governor, the most senior of the Councilors takes the position of ''Interim Governor'' on top of his other duties.

An interim governor may serve a term of up to six months before the appointment of a man to the permanent position must be made by the remaining members of the Council. During that time, the interim governor serves in all capacities as Judiciar and legal Governor of Myrken Wood. They may use the Governor's seal and sit in his chair, although this has been considered by many to be bad form.

Should the interim Governor perish in ''his'' office, the second longest-tenured Councilor takes the position for another six months.

==Origins to the Fall.==

Sonoriel was once a prominent creature among creation. Sired by an angelic father, and born of an elven mother. He grew into a [[paladin]] for the [[One True God]], and in his latter years succumbed to apathy. Turning against all the he knew, he became responsible for the slaughter of many innocents in far-away lands. Carving *his* name into their forheads. Now Sonoriel, The Fighter is Sonoriel, The Fallen.

==Current.==

Currently his movements have brought him into Myrken Wood. Seeking to further his own goals by directly manipulating those within. He is now a hired executioner, practicing and learning the dark arts in a hidden pit, beyond the knowledge of his superiors.

==Description.==

A dark-robed figure with a fiery gaze, and black hair. Hidden on his back, tucked into the folds of his robe, is his longsword. The sword, originally called Justice. It's original name scraped off, and replaced in evil, demented looking elven runes, bye the single word, Malice. Although consistently covered by his dark, blood red, robes the distinct metallic clank of metal can be heard from underneath. A machine to some, an armored warrior to others. Every enemy he kills bears his name and rune carved upon their flesh, and deep into the bone.

Also, he has recently been granted the [[Amesbury|Baronetcy of Amesbury]] by [[Chedwry II|King Chedwry II]] as well. He has also been raised to the title of [[Minister of Myrken Wood]].

Upon his arrival in [[Myrken Wood]], Lord Hawkesbury was greatly displeased by the conditions of [[Amesbury Estate]] and, as a result, he had Master Builder [[Hughes Brickenden]] and his craftsmen to renovate the estate house. While the construction was happening, Hawkesbury left Myrken Wood since he couldn't find lodging that satisfied his tastes. As a result, he took advantage of the hospitality of [[Lord Tordham]] in [[Ricathair]], [[Amasynia]].

Now that the work has been completed on Amesbury, Lord Hawkesbury as returned to Myrken Wood along with three of his personal bodyguards from Southern [[Trae Kelsa]]. The three men, [[Samuel Smithson|Smithson]], [[T.S. Brummell|Brummell]], and [[Garrels Wooderscock|Wooderscock]], accompany Hawkesbury wherever he goes.

His Lordship continues to be disturbed about the conditions of Myrken Wood and is more bothered by the day.
