add bio
History
The Rameriz merchant family had always been the talk of the town in Collingford, ever since the young Leandro returned with his new blushing bride -- Marisol. Beautiful, gentle hearted Marisol who with her exotic looks became the new talked about scandal. She simply did -not- belong among the aristicatic families and more well to do landowners and merchants of Collingford. For better or worse, whispered words and rumors were passed on to the two children that resulted from such a union: Eduardo and his younger sister, Rosamaria.

Other than being concidered a scandal as a half-blooded child, the woman would never deny the fact that her childhood was a pleasant one. More so than most of the women of Collingford may ever boast for there was a certain freedom allowed her that they would never experience. The family business was already promised to her elder brother, Eduardo, and prosperious enough were the Ramerizs that there was no need to marry their only daughter in a manner that they would profit from. What well bred man would wish to join in wed-lock the half blood anyways?

This all suited her just fine. It produced a rather wild childhood of numberous adventures -- a few of which a reluctant and much younger Coriolanus Helstone was dragged along. Not that he ever complained in the end as the two combined forces always found a way to rise above adversities together! Of course, as it does often happen to such close childhood friends, different paths would pull the two away from the shared innocence of youthful years.

While Cory saw to his studies and beginnings of a blossoming career in court -- Rosamaria roamed. She, against her reluctant mother and father's wishes, had set out to seek her own fortunes. The blade that she had learned to hold during her brother's own fencing lessons was placed to grand use when she joined up with a small group of bounty hunters.

So much would be experienced in such a short amount of time -- some of which even Cory has not yet learned of. The lady keeps her secrets well.

Recent
As fate would have it, strong ties of friendship would draw the dashing young woman to the vortex of trouble that Myrken has become. An answer to Cory's call for aid with his growing need for a guard as budding lawyer found himself thrust deeper into the politics of the land as Myrken's newest Councilman.

For her loyalties, already the woman has stuffered through the horror of Drow and the mental torments of Illithids. Despite all of this, she still lingers steedfast at the side of one man.

Recent rumors say that the woman has lost her mind in the sense that much of her recent past has been forgotten, that she no longer believes that she has ever once picked up the blade. Some say that the mind simply blocks out all painful memories, others that it was brought about from the hit upon her head she suffered during the overthrow of former governor, Helstone. There is also word of an engagement announced between she and Mister Helstone.

Apperance
Lean and willow tall, the woman much resembles the slender blade that rests readily against her hip. There is a touch of exotic to her appearance, it is there in the almond shape of those dark, dark earthen eyes -- in the dusky olive of the seaside complexion inherited from her mother. The rich of chocolate hair is most often seen kept tied in a thick, no-nonsense braid.

The woman is known for her wardrobe, ranging from crimsons with delightful gold detailing to earthy hunter green and cream. While there is at times the harsh and sleek of leather, there is also the contrast of soft linens, of ribbons and lace.

Just because one operates within a world more readily accepting of men, it does not mean that one must look as one to be taken seriously. At least, that is her own formed opinion. A woman of the blade is the best of two worlds for they are both steel and silk.
Much of this feral elf remains a mystery as few have ever been granted the chance to get close. She is a loner to the very core but perhaps due to that clinging, foreign feeling while in a land where so little makes sense to her. Her only constant companion is the small, black mouse often found riding upon her by the name of Pipsqueak, or Squeak for short.

A small and petite thing, she stands shy of five feet by inches and unlike her more refined cousins this wild elf does not display the same wispy grace. There is a more solid build, compact like that of a feline. Her skin, a lush nut brown, is adorned with a series of twisted and spiraled blue tattoos and often bearing pale war paints when she stalks the shadowed monster once encountered within the tavern's rafters. Wide set, almond shaped eyes the shade of new leaves -her crow's wing hair long and decorated with thin braids where the flutter of feathers or the odd bead or small skull may be found.

She still favors the clothing of her people, despite the tastes of 'civilization' she has been given beneath the careful guidance of her deceased husband. Softly worked hides and furs, less being more when the heat of summer graces the earth. Often a small, walking armory, she is not often seen without the following gear: Quiver and bow, hunting knife, and battle claws.

Her first arrival had been a muddy, bedraggled one when the small and crumpled creature appeared upon the steps of the tavern begging for help. That help would come too late for her aging, human mate senselessly slaughtered by the greed of bandits upon the road. With no reason to move forward and nothing to look back to, it has left this small female in a state of limbo and so she stays.

A little known fact about Mouse, she was one of two witnesses of the death of famed barkeep Pritchard whom had left this world after suffering a heart attack brought on after saving another young girl's life.
Though not a native of Myrken, Molly has wasted no time settling herself into the daily rhythms of the town -- swiftly finding herself employment at the local tavern.

Her place of origin, Glenmoor, left behind, the youthful widow has struck out on her own after the death of her adventerous Elven husband, Nathan. Some may say that his memory was what drummed the young woman from her home while she would profess that it was to keep herself from becoming a burden upon older brothers as they each began families of their own.

Lurking somewhere in her early twenties, this woman is bred of tough stock. Still, there is a pleasant shape to her face and some of the male gender may find themselves drawn to the full of those rolling hips and the might of her bosom. Curves of womanhood not so openly placed on display though! Bodice tucks instead of fluffs while full skirts fall down and proper about the ankles, all in the somber color of her widowed status. The untamed curls of fiery red hair are kept drawn away from the warm and laughter of summer blue eyes as she works, by way of braids, knots, or what ever fashion seems most handy.

While some may have trouble battling the thick accent that clings still to her tounge, the barmaid will no doubt charm the socks off most with her quick smile and laughter. Linger a while in her presence, one will fall to the enjoyment of a well spun tale or a good Irish proverb or two.

In her recent history, she has worked her way up from humble barmaid to respectable tavern owner of the Broken Dagger despite the swirl of stories and rumors about her, some of it about a tea cup. Others are those concerning the girl Quincy, linking her to the two blamed for the girl's death. Never mind that she was the very same soul who had pleaded for the girl's life or had tried to slow the bleeding when life began to fade. Still, can anyone be charged for murder when the victim is unexpectedly still walking around?

In Recent history...

On the evening of the Tenth of Febuary, Molly gave birth to a little girl named Brennah O'Neill. Nothing has been seen or heard of the girl child's father and one might almost suspect that Molly prefers it this way.

Her story is a tragic one, of betrayal and heart break. A story that only one other individual might know the full of and the fire witch Rielle certainly is not one to give away the secrets of others.

Blessed by the divine, hand selected to serve one who was a member of a holy order of paladins. A man who's name shall never more pass over her tongue and lips. She had been nothing but a wolf then, wild and proud though it was her loyal heart that the she-wolf had been selected for. Long legged and sleek, thick gray pelt with an unusual coloring of eyes: a frost nipped blue. Goddess selected she had been given gifts, one of which included that of a young, human woman. It had been a good, fulfilling life.

Then came the betrayal.

To die in the service of one who was Less than as they had presented themselves, unworthy and tainted  Emore interest shown in the whores he wooed than the beast wounded in his service. Mournful of the tragedy, the Powers That Be had granted the she-wolf one more chance at life but at a price. As death had found her as a wolf, so shall life be granted to her as a woman. Instead of seeing this gift with a thankful heart, it was seen as a curse.

Death was a better alternative.

The world experienced through the senses of a woman are but a shadow of what she knew them to be. This is a form of torture and she has sworn to strike out with her twisted heart and sense of justice in any way that she might. Those in the 'Goodly' services of the Gods her rightful targets. Those who might claim themselves as the must pure of souls to her were all that was wrong in the world, waging their holy wars. She shall wage her own personal war now against them.

Paladin Slayer.

She is a tall woman of a solid, athletic build  Emuscles that have been honed to service her for the one specific task she has taken upon herself. Once told by a man of how lovely her waist length mane of steel gray hair had been, it has since then been kept in a rather short and spiky array about a face that is yet some what youthful if now showing the marks of a hard life lived and fought through.

She is often dressed in soft buckskin: pants that hang low upon the sharp jut of hips (Much of her seems sharp as the name Steel would suggest) and with hems that drag long against the dust of the earth. In warmer weather, not but a vest is worn  Eit leaves the muscled build of arms bare along with the hard flat of the woman's lower abdomen. Only in the winter does she seem to bother with footwear or warmer gear.

As of late she has made her home within Myrken Forest, living mostly off the land and in the company of a small pack of wolves -be it that they have adopted their former sister or the other way about is hard to guess. Besides this, it would seem that the only company she savors to keep is that of Rielle as the two women do have a similar pain that they share.
The man himself is not physically imposing, standing of average height and of average build, though he seems skilled enough with his sword to hold ground with the likes of Kerrak. There have been several families who have spoken for Gerard, claiming to have long known his family, and thus Gerard, further tying him legitimately to Myrken Wood.
More so than most of the women of Collingford may ever boast for there was a certain freedom allowed her that they would never experience.

Coriolanus Helstone is, quite simply, a very good lawyer.

Known to friends as 'Cory,' Helstone is a native of a well-established family in the eastern Amasynian town of Collingford. He studied law at a prestigious university there before setting up a private practice in Myrkentown.

He prides himself in maintaining a high level of sartorial fastidiousness, and has a wardrobe to be admired. On the town or in the courtroom, his hair is always perfect and his hands always neat; visitors to his office are known to notice its remarkable state of cleanliness.

To support his high standard of living, Helstone is a prolific worker, helping Myrkenites settle and process real estate disputes, draw up wills, mediate controversies and fix the day-to-day affairs of town, and has also spent quite a bit of time in trial as both prosecution and defense in criminal cases. Although he is not known to take pro-bono or charity cases, his fees are not known to be too exorbitant. For most affairs, at least.

Helstone keeps a brusque, businesslike exterior, but is generally a pleasant and genial face to meet around town. He is shy rather than suave when it comes to women, and remains a quiet but effective voice when speaking out about matters of Myrken Wood law, which he does quite often. He prefers diplomacy to swordplay and frowns on military solutions when lawful, book-borne resolutions can be gained. He also has a bit of a ruthless streak, although for the most part it is sublimated beneath layers of propriety; it is not seen often.

After a few alarming encounters, he hired a childhood friend, Rosamaria Rameriz, to serve as his personal security, and has been rarely seen without her in public.

Helstone spends a great deal of time in conversation with all sorts of people at the Broken Dagger, where he is known to drink black tea and the finest whiskey, and currently serves on the Myrken Wood Judiciary Council as the Councilor of Administrative Sanctions.

Currently
In mid-July, after a public speech that placed him as a visible and somewhat trusted authority figure to the Myrken people -- Helstone and his guard Rosamaria were abducted by the drow, and he was forced by Audmathus to write a letter implicating various citizens of Myrken Wood as traitors and the country of Thessilane as an enemy. Since his return at the beginning of August, he has disavowed the letter -- but the damage has been done.

There have been two recent attempts on Helstone's life: one, by Biske, who believes Helstone is Audmathus, and another, by an unknown assailant claiming to be a errand-boy of Suede Roschen.

He has also been seen in the company of Guili Maria N'Aralon and other rumors place him as visiting Alli and Reverie in the Myrkentown gaol before their dissappearance.

He and Rosamaria are currently staying with Maria and her landlord, Kish until other arrangements can be made, thanks to the unfortunate catapulting of their Baker Street building in mid-July.

Cases
-- In the summer of AR 205, Helstone served as counsel during a trial accusing then-Governor Altias Bromn, his bodyguard Ariane Carnath-Emory, and tavern bartender Mikhail of multiple counts of murder outside the Broken Dagger tavern. He secured a complete acquittal on grounds of self-defense and extenuating circumstances.

-- That fall, Helstone represented Councilor Suede Roschen when the Councilor was accused by Straka Captain Thomas Daniels of black-market activity and a possible slaying. Roschen has since been reinstated to the Council, and Helstone remains tight-lipped about his involvement with that matter.

add bio
Standing slightly shorter than average height, Suede Roschens often towered over by the burly warriors that visit the Broken Dagger. A man inherently slim, it doesn't seem that he could put on much weight if he wanted to. With black hair always carefully cared for and deep hued eyes that seemed to perpetually laugh, he's ever the aristocratic showman. With a gift of sewing he makes all his own clothing, and thus always dresses in the finest material, if not the most gaudy style. He maintains the use of simple colors, greens, browns, greys, and blacks, and wears no viewable jewelry.

A known pervert, and a man of cheeky expressions; Suede has a terrible habit of simply appearing near someone and starting a conversation. No one is entirely sure how he manages the act.

Suede Roschen started his life in Myrken Wood as the resident premiere tailor, earning a quick source of revenue by obtaining Aloisius Treadwell as his first customer. He slowly expanded his business into the greater portion of the town's population while using it for a cover-up to a secondary busines.

Mr. Roschen is the rumored organizer of a Black Market within the borders of Myrken Wood and more recently beyond. This accusation occured due to the efforts of the former head of the guard, Thomas Daniels. Suede has since admitted to being involved with the Market early in his career in Myrken Wood, but insists he's long since paid off the money he borrowed to start his shop.

It was through this life in the dark he developed a professional agreement with the drow, Jirai. Their business partnership eventually developed into what has been described as the most disturbed and unhealthy relationship in town. This pair seems to hate eachother: Constantly fighting, beating eachother, poisonings, stabbings, rotten tricks, and damaging eachother's financial activities.

But they still seem oddly inseperable, and apparently enjoy the terror they put eachother through, to many degrees. Suede has a frightfully large jealous streak when it comes to the drowess he refers to as Murrpau and Qu`essan.

He also has a son by the name of Tsoss, given to him by Jirai. Despite his mother's apparent lack of concern for the child, as is common with the drow, he adores it. The baby is possibly the only thing known that can bring out Suede's kinder side, but he can still be seen attempting to teach it how to hold a knife at its young age.

Suede isn't a fighter, having next to no skill in the art. Jirai eventually insisted he learn after a near death experience at the hands of Dante, a drow hunter that had used Suede as bait for the drowess. Since that point he's learned continuously through the drow how to handle simple bladed weapons, and hand to hand combat. He's taken a far greater interest in the use of poisons, mixing his own more often then not. Known to always carry some concoction on his person, it's also rumored he takes his own poisons to build immunities.

At current the tailor is working on the Judiciary Council as Councilor of Agriculture, and looking for a certain 'friend' of his he owes a favor. He is known amongst a small few for having a significant number of contacts and information supplies, and quite possibly spies, which keep him further abreast of local activities than most.

<center>http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b219/Purrversion/Werecat-Fur5.jpg

Cinnamon is a curious feline, having wandered into Myrken Wood with no apparent history and no knowledge of who she was before becoming a were-cat. The feline has accepted her nature, the feral touch of being a were embraced and, by her perception, a definite part of whom she is. As such, with her acception, she has the ability to shift back and forth at a time of her choosing approximately twice per day. That is, she can go 'back and forth' between forms twice, and then trying again with exhaust her and give her an intense headache (and also prove unsuccessful until she rests.).

Cinnamon stands at a height of approximately six feet and a half when she is in were-cat form (which is most of the time.). Her hair in this form is long and curly, cinammon bangs that hang down to the small of her back in what can only be described as a 'mane,' towering over her head no less than half a foot or so. Bangs that hang to her chin often shroud the right side of her face in darkness. Fur adorns certain portions of her form as well, covering her hands, feet, and patterned on her body, where the fur seems to refuse to outright grow over her entire form. Fur can be found on her legs all the way up to the knee, and on her forearms up to the elbow. It also cups her breasts somewhat in a V pattern centered over her belly button, and there is a ring of fur around her hips that connects to her tail. Her tail bears an extra thick tuft of shaggy fur at the very tip. Her back is often hunched over, just slightly, from her natural tendency to creep about. Her skin is a light blue, not unlike a bruise, her lips a dark blue like blueberries (getting her to blush causes her skin to turn this color, too.). Foreclaws are slender, with five long digits much like normal fingers, and a thumb, all bearing purple claws no shorter than three to four inches in length. Her feet, on the other hand, are three-digited claws, the nails thick and wide though ending in razor sharp points. She walks on her toes and the balls of her feet.

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b219/Purrversion/Werecat-Pre-Earred10.jpg

In her more human form, Cinnamon stands at a height of only five feet and a half. She wears glasses, as most things are very blurry to her without them. Naturally, there is no fur to speak of on her in her human form, and her hair hangs to just past her shoulders, a glossy red that catches the light with easy. Her hair is not curly in human form. She is dark-skinned, the skin bronzed and well-oiled to likewise catch light. Fingers are slender, pianist's hands, and nails, painted purple, are kept trimmed, no longer than an inch long. In human form, Blank still bears pronounced canines, though not to the extent of the fangs she bears in were-cat form.

In both forms, Cinnamon is a curvy woman who does not do too much to hide the fact. Ample, supple breasts that bounce lightly with each step, a full, plump rear end that makes a good cushion and helps win dance competitions, wide hips, long legs. Her belly is flat, not chiseled but faintly muscled, and arms have leans muscles to them. She has a small, button-ish nose, and her eyes are faintly slanted, which, in feline form, often makes her seem like she's being sly or coy.

Cinnamon so far does not wear much. She wears a dark blue leather top, sleeveless, that shows off a scandalous amount of cleavage and cuts off just above the bottom of her breasts, showing off a faint tease of melon below the fabric. Around her hips is a miniskirt with a slit along the side, designed so that it 'covers' somewhat, but does not restrict movement too badly. In cat form, the simple wear is functional, supplemented by fur to keep her decent. However, out of catform, Cinnamon looks like nothing short of a harlot.

Often strapped to her back is a long staff made of lively green bamboo, capped on each end with three spread cat's claws made of some strange red glossy steel. The bamboo staff is also ringed with bronze rings approximately every three or four inches down the shaft.

<center>http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b219/Purrversion/Werecat-Fur5.jpg

Blank is a curious feline, having wandered into Myrken Wood with no apparent history and no knowledge of who she was before becoming a were-cat.

Blank stands at a height of approximately six feet and a half when she is in were-cat form (which is most of the time.).

In her more human form, Blank stands at a height of only five feet and a half.

In both forms, Blank is a curvy woman who does not do too much to hide the fact. Greetings!

As most of you know I and my creations have been around for quite some time. Both of us have been the heart of many discussions both good and bad. Which bothers me little.

I am here to weave stories and enjoy myself, as I hope you are. I have watched the Dagger grow, evolve, trip and fall. Pick itself up and start to grow again. Much to my undisguised delight.
This is home to me. To my stories, to hopefully many more up and coming brilliant writers yet to be. Kudos to the people behind the scene that work hard to make sure my ( and your ) playground is always there and willing to welcome everyone.

Thanks you all. :)

Now, where was I? Oh yes. Plotting! Back to it.

CroWWing Stewart Praetorian
http://ddi.dragonsorb.com/bio/croWWing1.cfm

What a large name for a child. Then again it was a name that held a great deal of history and blood. At least the Stewart part did, the Praetorian part would come later. Much, much later.

Born in the high land of future Scotland, she arrived in the usual way. With blood, pain, much excitement and a lot of useless fussing. Then again some of the worry was justified as the new girl-child was one of a pair. Very special parents indeed, a twisted Sorceress and her husband. Poor hapless lout that he was. A stone cutter, gemologist, famous and infamous work that graced many a royal body.

Her homeland was small to her, what child's world is not? Then one fine, bright day the sky would be darkened by the fire smoke of a battle. Blood splattered. It seems someone had whipped up the villagers into a frenzy of hatred. There were those evil Vampires about and of course they must be rooted out and sent back to the abyss that spawned them.

There and then the course was set and she was taken away from once happy home, to be transplanted into darker soil. Tribulations that sent her to street urchin life, to Gorean lands, to finally be taught all the pleasures of the flesh and exactly how they could be used for amusement and profit.

Tumble on the dark road. No one to care, no one but herself to tend to. There was no sobbing here , nor whining about the sorry state of her condition. Why would one do that, she was nobility. She was made for better things this young miss.

Years had passed. She lost count, time meant little or nothing to her. It was humanity that had their clocks and time pieces. Fear of death haunted the humans every step, trudge, trudging along to finally meet the grim reaper. Paugh, she had met that old scoundrel and throttled him into submission.

So, her hate for humankind grew, along with her skill in manipulation. She was caitiff, homeless, branded a rogue for her outrageous views and overindulgence in speaking them. Now came the most life changing event, she was a wanderer. A loner that kept to herself, almost a recluse but for this one stormy night she sought out company. Why? Unknown. Perhaps it was Rikard's look, or his willingness to not judge. Whichever the reason she returned, night, after night. Simply to talk to the man, it was the most she had spoken in years. Perhaps Rikard knew, if he did he politely ignored such and continued to let the young miss do as she pleased.

In those days the Drunken Dragon was a vital, lively place. Usually ending up with at least several attempts on Rickard's lady wife's person a night. Cowards! Once again, with no explanation to the why Crow saved Lady Elizabeth from a very messy experience. Adopted into the family she now became Praetorian. Something to this day she is proud of and displays in her own house crest.

Age mellows. Fire dims and becomes something concrete and focused. Husbands, lovers, she has had a few. Nathan Darkangel, Seranos Vayne, Cyrus Darkshade, Maximillian Dragul, these are only some of the powerful men that have fallen under her spell. Children? Yes. Twin girls. Vayne's progeny. Which of course he will never admit to or even recognize, Dragul progeny. Crowning jewels in the symphony of her life.

Lastly, but never least she is now currently married, quite happily to Shander Sterling
Perhaps one evening if you are sitting in the tavern, hunched over your tankard of grog, you may see this stunning couple. Creatures born out of myth and legend that have chosen to make Trea Kelsa and Myrken their home.
Phaeragh Vaeril is an unusual specimen of a male Drow on a variety of levels. By appearances alone, he stands taller than most of his race at 5'7. It is a height that reaches beyond that of the females who do often near dwarf their counter parts. Beyond just that, he lacks the wispy grace of his race. While he is not a great hulk, he does physically bear more strength that of the average Drow. More peculiar yet is the lack of the usual crimson eyes, replaced by those of feline gold -echoing the shades of the great hunting cats of sunlit plains.

He is often dressed in sleeveless armor of spider's silk, a rather strong material that is at the same time as supple as a leather jerkin. This displays well the white tattoos of unusual properties that race down his muscled, obsidian colored arms. There are rumors that these tattoos help him to shrug off the usual effects of spells, something that keeps many priestesses at bay for the time being. From one tapered ear, a pearl drop of an earring usually dangles. His stark white hair is kept in a short cropped and spiked fashion, straying him further from the usual long and flowing tresses of his 'brothers-at-arms'.

Born to a lesser family, he was given a rather unusual task of raising his own twin sisters at the death of his Matron. Of the two, only Vyctausa survived. More than a small measure of pride has been placed into the fact that he has raised a female capable and willing to follow the orders of a 'mere' male. Openly, it is this reason that he based his vengeance against Ky`faira upon and not for the unusually strong attachment he feels for his sister. More than once he has shown his distaste of the female ruling of his society but not so greatly yet as to get him into more trouble than he can dig himself out of.

In his recent history, the large and burly Drow male has abandoned his own home to follow after a more powerful female by the name of Faeryl to aid in her quest of dominating Myrken. It was here that his path had crossed with Vyctausa when last he thought her 'safely' minding her own business back home. Upon her death, he had created a rampant path of destruction to see to her revenge after the assassin Srinnin told him that the human woman, Ky`faira, had been behind it. Since then, Vyctausa has been resurrected and his rage calmed.

This one would seem the perfect dolly made to tempt and heighten the flames of desire within others. Properly groomed and pampered, those chocolate curls arranged in thick, sausage-plump fashion. Heavenly featured with those doe-eyes of glittering darkness and rosebud shape of mouth accentuated with color to even the little darling of a birthmark that lingers near the outer corner of her left eye, resting upon the high curve of a cheekbone. Her flesh does seem to be a bit on the pale side, though as flawless as fine porcelain. Still, it is not strange to see any lady of wealth to sport such a complexion in their easy life of luxury.
Often seen wearing gowns of the lavished sort with waists well nipped in, to a point that is a wonder she is able to breath at all! Then, the more observant eye may note that it seems that breath is rarely drawn within those lungs. Always, though, she is dressed at the height of fashion and often seen carrying a cane even if she walks without a hint of a limb to her stride.

Few know of this lady's past or true nature, save the children who rest safely within her care. One of these young ones is the naughty child known as Charlotte who has from time-to-time been caught victimizing patrons of the Broken Dagger .Her favored victim being Treadwell who’s very presence she did despise for his mistreatment of the little boy, Phlynn.
Audmathus would call her a goddess; perhaps this is because there is no better match for the blood thirsty male than this, tiny package of a priestess who's own desire for such is just as great. To the relief of many, she is mortal enough.

The female seems an angel at first glance -from the child's quality of those wide eyes and virgin white snowdrift of hair. To mistake her as such would be the last error on the part of a great fool for she is more a demon cast from the heavens above for sins unforgivable. Wicked light shines behind the crimson, hellfire eyes as granted by her Drow heritage and glimpse of that ebon flesh is enough to send many in Myrken running in fright or fetch their weapons. For her race, she is small. Where the females often tower over their counter parts, she is a tiny doll in comparison to the males at 4'8. It often lends her a deceiving edge.

She would with pride announce herself as Faeryl Nulliira Auvryrahel of the House Auvryrahel, fourth daughter and most favored of Lolth's high priestesses. Successor Faeryl, as she is known by her followers who anticipate the day she takes over her mother's position of Matron of her household. Till then, she rules her own secluded fortress known as the Black Spire. The black stone tower a haven that she had 'acquired' upon the death of a former lover, at her own hands. A fate that seems destined for most of the males that she beds. The wizard's secrets and resources from that point on were accumulated along with her own growing ones.

Faeryl presents herself as a double threat. With her goddess's blessings, she has been equipped with clerical spells but certainly not those of the goodly sort. Beyond just that, she has shown herself capable of handling hand-to-hand combat with ease in the heat of melee with the use of her Whip of Fangs or the long, slender blade worn faithfully at her hip.

Since her first visit to Myrken, years back, an obsession had been developed rotating around a single, unusual male and their fated roof top meeting. She had been there, in the background, when Audmathus held his first reign of terror. It had been a failed attempt to gain control of his fabled blade and the other blessed weapons of Lolth. Unknown to others, it had been by her assistance that Audmathus escaped the executioner's axe the first time. His winged escape had been her doing. After that, she had vanished without a word or trace left behind of her existence till years later.

When both Audmathus and his reborn blade, Avel failed to complete the will of Lolth, Faeryl had been selected next. With her goddess's favor, it was her chance to clutch at power and serve the Dark Mother's will. First, Avel had to be reclaimed. Useless as flesh, her mortal body was slain by Faeryl's own hand and reclaimed as the sentient sword that she once was. Afterwards, Audmathus's slain body was stolen from it's watery grave at the bottom of Silver Lake, that it may be granted new life and she a new toy. Details of these exploits may be found upon the forum here: http://www.brokendagger.com/BB/showthread.php?t=1783

Together, she and Audmathus have worked side by side with other Drow, Srinnin (Recently killed by Faeryl), Phaeragh, and Jirai to claim a piece of the surface world that is believed to be their birth right to control.

Favored victims that have suffered at her hands include, Ky`faira, Reverie, D'ran, and Cinjin to name a few. Currently it is rumored that Councilor Suede Roschen's own child, Tsoss, has fallen into their hands.
Wendy

BrokenDreamer:

Wendy Edwards is a published writer living in Central Virginia. Her role-playing experience helped to blossom her talent from the start in the original #Broken_Dagger back in 1995.

Her creation of everyday characters--tavern owner, Raegan, her sister, Shannarah, the barmaid Carys and Governor Gad Phuri helped to create a framework of "locals" in and around the Dagger. Over time, the Dagger has grown to include many familiar faces, like the characters: Pritchard, Jarek, Quincy, Burel, Lenore, Molly and Ariane.

Due to Wendy's effort, and that of her teams of channel operators, the channel has grown from a place to exchange "in-character" (IC) banter and ideas into a working world of citizens, government and history.

Wendy created the lands by using the details described by the role-players of #Broken_Dagger, often co-creating with Mongrel and Carnath-Emory to make the written world a more realistic place, where people could write and engage in storytelling by interacting with one another.

Wendy has retired from role-playing online in exchange for a career in writing, but it is always with a glad heart that she revisits the Dagger. The world it has become is an accomplishment that she will continue to be fond of.

The foundership of the Dagger was given to Wendy's co-founder, Mongrel, before she stepped down in order to pursue other endeavors. For a time, Wendy returned to the foundership, but she found that she could not justify having leadership of the place when she didn't have the time or the effort it took to run it anymore. The place needed someone who would lead it with more dedication, as she had done in the past.

When she stepped down for the final time, Wendy gave her team of channel operators control of the foundership. The team selected James as Wendy's successor. The rest, as they say, is up to history!

Appearance
Though claiming to be seventeen, the small girl who sometimes visits the Broken Dagger hardly looks a day over fifteen. Though her pale, barely-freckled features are striking, they have the unfinished appearance of youth, giving some hint that when she matures they may be perhaps even stunning in their beauty. Blue-black hair seemingly at all times held in a tightly woven braid that falls to her mid-shoulderblades, she does not fuss over her appearance as so many other females might. More often than not, the young girl might be found draped in over-large tunics and breeches that conceal a frame which seems completely devoid of any feminine curves. Even her hands are constantly concealed in dove-gray gloves of butter-like leather. Her eyes are a simple hazel, wrought of emerald irises interrupted by a starburst of nearly orange-gold about either pupil. Sun-touched eyes that seem to sparkle with good humor at most times, accentuated by a cheerful smile. If the girl takes anything serious, it is rare, and even less rarely seen by others.

Background
Very little is known about Maeve's background. She claims to have no surname with which to give to others in introduction, but none have asked enough to gain a better explanation. The simple peasant girl appeared at the tavern near the beginning of cultists attacks against the governor, Altias Bromn. With time, it seemed that the girl had some connection to the bartender, Mikhail, though it remains unexplained to this day. Considering the man's rather unsociable nature, that could perhaps be due to the lack of any wishing to question the man about why the man sometimes acts much like a gruff older brother to the girl. Through the bartender, she has grown close to Molly O'Neill as well, whom she still sometimes visits when the scarred barkeep is not around. While claiming to have a fiancee named Glavain, and even having brought him to meet a few of the tavern's patrons, the girl is more often found on her own. What a handsome elven man might have found to love in a little peasant human girl with a heavy, and sometimes rather annoying accent remains a mystery.

Most Recently
Much to the distaste of Mikhail of late, the young girl seems to have found herself in a very different circumstance for living. Though she does not often talk about it, she has a far stricter cerfew and less time to spend at the tavern. Still, she is usually rather cheerful and without any regret for whatever it is that has changed her lifestyle, and can still be found wandering in from time to time.

BrokenDreamer:

Above all things, Dorian Mode strives to live a mediocre life peppered with fleeting instants of brilliance.

This just goes to show you what too many philosophy lessons will do to a person.

It was at some twenty-three years of age that Dorian found work at the Broken Dagger. Employed by Raegan Darkblayde and the since-passed Pritchard, she was consistently assigned tasks that were both unpopular and unimportant -- which explains her success on the job, for Dorian is not well-renowned for her quick wit or able mind. While Kiki had served in the upstairs rooms, and clever Molly O'Neill had worked at the barcounter, Dorian filled her days with more menial tasks: fetching wood for the Inn's two hearths, sanding wax from the brass lanterns -- even chasing spiders from the corners of windowsills. But with painstaking care, and the gentleness that she shows to all things that live and feel, for Dorian had needed no teacher to educate her in an empathy for the suffering of others.

Much has changed, since those early days. The Bloody Flux has come and gone; Jaden Soulhunter has dazzled her with his magicians's tricks; Dorian has even been unfortunate enough to encounter one of the Order of the All's young victims. But of most significance is that Lady Darkblayde has passed the care of her tavern into the capable hands of Molly O'Neill -- and Molly has seen fit to elevate young Dorian into a place amongst the kitchen staff.

For the first time, Dorian earns a <I>wage</i> for indulging her fascinations with the wonders of baking, of roasting, of the sheer <I>magic</i> of turning flour and water into a taste dessert.

Of course, giving the lackwit access to the kitchens has had some drawbacks. Soon after the Flux, for instance, the tavern's infestation of rats was traced back to her determination to have some of the little vermin for pets. A small, fierce war was waged between she and Proxenus, the one-eyed chef who was determined to eradicate the pests; on more than one occasion, she held solemn funerals for her slaughtered pets. Only appeasement was able to end the conflict, Proxenus eventually presenting her with a cat of docile and patient nature. The beast, as yet unnamed, has had a home in the tavern cellars ever since.

So too has Dorian -- although her <I>real</i> home is some miles away, in the cavernous dwelling of her beloved teacher, Bizen Rei. Still, the girl has become a regular feature of the tavern, where she may often be found working as a haphazard sushiya, singing merry rhymes to the lobsters that are slated for the evening's dinner, or asking the more boisterous patrons to please, please, oh won't you <I>please</i> stop hitting each other?
When she does not have her nose buried into an old volume, she can often be found organizing the back of the bar to suit her own functionality, much to the disdain of the other employees of the Dagger! Clumsy at heart, it isn't rare that she finds herself confusing beverage types or spilling a few too many crackers in the stew, though her kind disposition is often enough to assuage a customer's disappointment. Though sometimes she believes she knows absolutely everything -- for who doesn't when one is as well read as she? -- Alli is prone to the same misgivings and mistakes as any other teenaged girl, much to the occasional chagrin of her employers!

At the age of thirteen, she often finds herself confused between childhood and adulthood, wanting little longer to be considered a mere girl, while at the same time not necessarily understanding what it means to be a woman, either.

In truth, Alligail's purpose in Myrken Wood came of her younger brother's demise. In wanting only to arrive long enough to gather his remains -- for Myrken had been Phlynn's home -- she began to unravel mysteries of her own peculiar childhood in the process. Struggling to understand her own secrets, she discovered friends that she did not realize she would ever have, and while the task of retrieving her brother's bones still weighs on her conscience, she has found that his posthumous need is far less demanding than those of her living friends, and her own.

Of Concealment and Compatriots
An upstairs chamber provides the haven of her sanctity, a room in the Broken Dagger whose endearing mess is no more than the result of a young girl with far too many books, far too many gowns, and way too much time. Few know the truth of these walls, for though they are identical to those of any other rented room, their purpose is distinctly different. The countless bolts and locks on the inside of her door -- things fastened each night in haste -- speak of an unspoken fear, and few hear the rattle of rusted shackle-chains when she seeks her rest.

Secrets, indeed, these things.

Alligail, however wise she may think herself to be, is still barely anything but a fanciful girl left of her own accord in the constant terrors of Myrken Wood. In several others, she has found her almost family-like solemnity; in Molly O'Neill and Mikhail, employers and givers of advice, admirable towers or friendship whose presence she relishes in an almost parental manner; in Hafwyn, a dearest friend and soft seamstress of calming and gentle words, a wisp of truth when conscience leads her wrong; and most recently, in Reverie, a sisterly bond whose strength is persistant in its mirrored need and verisimilitude, the likeness of two identical dolls that find their stitches far more unbreakable when bound in tandem.

There are, certainly, others who have appealed to the young barmaid's mind in their own different ways. In Bryce, she once found a dramatic, childish crush, often endangered by her own youthful flights of confusion. Moreso black and passionate, however, has been her recent hatred for Lokelei, a presence that has brought much threat to vows made and storybook nobility, for as much as Alligail would force herself to believe, there are some points of her past that she simply cannot deny, and this anger feels nothing but right.

Trying to force herself to forget her rather unpleasant origin and saturate herself in humanity, Alligail now remains in Myrken not to satisfy a want for a final goodbye to her younger brother, but instead to hope she might eventually discover a reason to stay.
One thing is certain however, that when he is behind the bar, it is a good time to run, or brave a drink in hopes the man is in a good mood, which seems hardly ever without Molly around.

In her recent history, this young widow has found herself betrothed to one, Mikhail. She has also worked her way up from humble barmaid to respectable tavern owner of the Broken Dagger.

In the winter of my freshmen year of college, I was introduced to Mirc and the concept of ffrp. From there, it was all down hill. My humble beginnings were on dal.net within a little place then known as #The_Silver_Blade_Tavern. From there I had drifted about between a few different channels, tinkered with one of my own before coming to starchat.net where I found my true place within the #Broken_Dagger.

As of right now, I am the current acting Co-Founder of the channel, delighted with my job of interacting with all of the players who come around while weaving storylines and plots with my fellow co-conspirators to keep as many as involved as possilbe and your characters living upon the edge!
On a more personal note, I am going into my last semester of school in fall of 2006. Upon the end of such, I will be graduating with a BFA with an emphasis in Illustration.
