The Abomination roared in displeasure at the Binding that held it. It struggled and shrugged, the pieces of body that remained working against that which contained it. There. THERE. It could feel a breech in the energy that suffused and restrained it. Another scream of sorts from the Head, and the body lurched. Yet, like many things, this was too late.
In spending all of its attention into freeing itself, it had momentarily forgotten about Agnieszka. Her earlier strikes had been painful, yes, but against the extra-planar nature of the Beast itself, there was nothing to worry about. Just as the scratchings and bites of the wolf were something to be ignored when there was something like Aleksei present. But here, as the body starts to lurch into position, there is a blade descending to pierce and disembowel. To rend and tear. The Abomination screeches. Loud enough to crack glass and make dust shake from the nearby stone walls. And with a tear it shuffles backwards on broken limbs. Azure corporescant spills from the wound left from the blow, bleeding the mystical life-blood of the Beast and Head.
A blood-stained stream of spittle is ejected from the creature, as ghostly flames of phosphorescent amber billow from the various holes within the animated body. Energy pulsates from the creature as it raises up on shattered appendages, bone-claws driving flaming ocher-tinted holes into the broken stonework beneath it. Another hiss, and the maw that existed on the Jons' head spoke.
"You cannot stop the Eight. Their coming was foretold Aeons ago." Violet energy pulses now, the various colours of its discharge coalescing and burbling. Almost like a stream of tinted energy that circles the group. There is corruption there. Hatred. Lust. Fear. Damnation. "Even if you destroy this frame... You cannot stop the Eight!" The hues flicker again. From the brilliant blue, to the almost neon yellow. Flames of ethereal purple tinted with orange-hot heat. There, it melted all into a sallow jade as the Abomination started to melt into itself, the flesh and remaining blood of the Constable turning into liquid and pooling underneath it. The Head, what was left of it, cackled silently as it died. Even if it was cut off from the Eternity of Chaos, it still managed to let loose a little madness here.
And for the Head. That was all that mattered.

It was, apparently, dead. That didn't mean Kals really wanted to get close to it. He simply stayed where he was, collecting himself and tightening his on his impromptu bludgeon while he watched the burn away under the assault of the others.
Whatever Aleksei had done had left him with a headache, like a needle had been set behind each eye from a good old wallop of skill. Apparently that was a lot better than what it had done to the creature, so he'd take his consolation prize and not complain.
"Yeah well... Seven eight nine."

There is absolute silence from Agnieszka and her blade. She wipes someone's viscera from her sleeve and stands over the body, her sword at the ready. She waits. She waits until she knows for good that there is no more hell-life there underneath the torn, broken skin of the Constable and the thing that had once been Jons Feul.
And when blood pools near her shoes and death is death once again, when the migraine in her head dies down to a thudding whispered chorus, Kals opens his mouth and says the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard. And then all of her words, all of the things she wanted to say to the Eight, to the Head, all of the brave words and damnations -- they all fall away into one choked, ridiculous laugh in response.
"... we can win," is what she says. "We can win."

The power faded from Aleksei, leaving him a man again. Silver and gold flowed from his body like water colors washed from a canvas. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and he turned white as a sheet as he sank down on the ground, back resting against the wall the creature had been using as a hop scotch play ground. He just watched it dissolve, watching it fade from both realms. He looked a bit like a shock patient now.. pale, shaking and sweating.
He listens to the damned thing spout and then just smirks. "Not while I draw breath, I am afraid, little daemon." Of course, if he didn't take it a little easier, that would not be long at this rate. "Agnie.. give me a hand up? I feel like I ran a hundred miles carrying a horse."

The wolf had leapt away from the body as it caught on fire, watching it cautiously as it's existance left their world. She would sniff at the air to be sure that it's demonic presence was gone from them before she would turn her head, looking over at her companions' well being. Upon seeming satisfied with their condition overall she would trot over towards Kals, coming to bump her nose lightly under his hand in greetings. They had done well tonight, and she was certain they would be victorious in the war to come.

"Do we need to burn it? Or splash holy water on it or something?" He didn't know, but that just seemed like the appropriate thing to do from all the stories he's read. His head had stopped throbbing almost at the instant of the creature's death and he pushed off the wall as Kacela came near. A gloved hand settled on her muzzle until she moved it and he grinned down at her. That was the first time he'd actually seen the wolf nature of her's in action. It was inspiring.
Kals's covered gaze moved over the scholar when he called for help to stand. "What exactly did you shout out? It hurt... a lot."

"Yeah..." she says after a minute, jerking herself back into reality. She extends her hand to Aleksei and hoists him to the ground, and then looks over at Kals. "Yeah," she responds. "We need to burn the poor bastard. To ash."

He nods a thanks to Agnie for the hand up, and gets a stick of chalk, going around where the body turned into a goo on the stones, drawing a circle of warding on the ground. Large enough for them to pile the bodies in. While he does, his eyes lift to Kals. He's an unknown, someone he has no experience with, and no trust for. "The word? A spell, one normally I wouldn't use around others.. but I was afraid the creature would complete what it was doing to the body. My apologies for the headaches."
The circle is quickly traced on the ground, and he has to sit again, looking even worse than he did before he started, if such a thing is possible, "All the bodies need burned, inside the circle."

She would give Kals' hand another little nuzzle before she'd trot away from where he was. Aleksei had asked that the bodies be brought to the circle and the wolf seemed intent on making sure he got what he needed. She was strong and capable of such a task and so she saw no reason to delay. She'd move to the first of the bodies, using her massive jaws to capture clothing or limb before backing up slowly, her tail wagging as she dragged the body towards the circle that Aleksei had created.
