Word is soon sent to Councilor al'Nerun.

What a busy dawn this proves to be, couriers summoned to and fro across the length and breadth of Myrkentown! Why, here comes yet another one a-knocking at the Councilor's door, as breathless as the lad who'd appeared at Helstone's -- for after all, they'd both been sent running from the very same source. What D'Rael might think of his Rememdium becoming a hub for such communications is anyone's guess...

Councilor Kerruk,

I have been given cause for concern, and hope that we may speak as imediately as is possible for you. I may be found in the Remimmdeom, fear not I am not sorely inshured.

Ariane Emory.

This parchment has been foleded and carefully sealed so that you may know if it has been tampured with before reaching your hands.

It was a letter that would be gone over quickly. Indeed, he made the lad wait until he had read it and then penned a quick response. Ari could write, after a fashion anyway... it was almost endearing, almost. So maybe she could read. In either case, he would make the letter short.

I shall come as soon as I am able.

Kerrak.

Then it was folded and a small number of shillings handed to the boy. He had instructions to take it directly to Ariane. And then? The councilor would lean back in his chair and continue to wait for his horse.
