He gave Fred a reassuring smile and a wink. "I promise not to tell anyone you think you are a necromancer. But we'll see what comes out of a few books and the animal you're going to bring." Then he'd stand, now that she seemed so eager to go, and would walk around her to open the door. He could certainly still be a proper gentleman despite the odd choice of conversational topics.

"It's not about me. It's about my friend." She insisted. She gave him a polite little nod of her head once he walked her to the door and she'd be out of it herself and away from the Rememdium in a hurry. It had been an awkward conversation.
