There and back again...and again.

To a lesser extent, so is his other duties from his native land: a place up in the arctic north known as Bolgardia. Usually about once a year, David travels north, leaving the Rememdium Edificium in the hands of whomever happens to be hired on at the time - a roster that changes frequently, often with young mobile individuals who one can't rightly blame for finding Myrken Wood not to be a nice place to settle down.
Natives, of course, love the place to death, but one can imagine it is hard to convince a newcomer that it's a nice place when plagues and demon spawn immediately flock to the territory in record numbers.
Despite all this, the Rememdium Edificium continues to function as a necessary Myrken staple; not something Doctor D'Rael had anticipated when he constructed the place in early 203.
If he had known, the building would be much, much bigger.
Regardless, David and those in his employ make due with what they have. The Doc was back again, having arrived sometime last week - and not a moment too soon, evidentially, what with the after effects of the Ashfiend to deal with.
It is ironic if not unfortunate that one of the first things the Doctor wanted to do back here in Myrken Wood was see the Governor. That said Governor was already in the Edificium recovering from wounds was not exactly what David D'Rael had intended.
