The Search for Redemption

Without flair, void of the arrogant step in her saunter, Sarayn Dala'vaesa approached the Rememdium Edificium with chin lowered and wearing the invisible mantle of humility. Beautiful face plain, she was donned in a simplistic garb of white and with no other adornment than the slippers on her dainty feet. She cleared the threshold with the whisper of a thin sigh and leveled her eyes with the first personnel she saw within the unusually quiet halls of the medical facility.
"May I help you..?" the nurse inquired lightly, her face near contorted into distaste upon seeing a drow of all souls wander in.
"I--" Sarayn began, running slender fingers through her hair, "I.. seek redemption."
"We are hardly a religious--" the nurse began, soon cut off by the drowess' following words.
"I seek redemption by offering my services to your facilitity. I am a priestess of Eilistraee and can help with healing those that are ill. I fear that.." and she swallowed hard here, blue eyes tearing up, ".. those that I care about will soon make it here, suffering grievously from wounds inflicted by the Fiend in the battle soon to come. And should that be the case, I will be here for him--" and she quickly corrected herself, "--them, when they come."
The nurse pursed her lips and looked her over. Though her skin was dark, and though her people were once the tormentors of Myrken Wood, Nurse Fairwell couldn't deny the dire need for assistance--Teron Ashfiend was still killing, still wrecking havoc among the people.. and at the mention of a battle soon to come? It caused a shiver to trickle down her spine. Regardless, she could hardly make that decision; she simply hadn't the authority.
"Wait right here. Let me see what I can do.."
Sarayn smiled fleetingly and took a seat in the small waiting room, hopeful that she would be able to do some semblance of good.
