After a week incapacitated, and another week of recouperation Bryce had decided to renew his efforts in battling the Flux. He was nervous about healing anyone else with his powers after the incident with Janessa, but a certain rather persuasive Kaczmarek confronted him in the tavern over the issue of a dead loved one and he pushed his concerns aside to try and rectify the guilt he felt. That afternoon he tried his best to heal as many people as he could, perhaps offering hope again to those patients that weren't responding well to the treatments.

Someone else had been battling the flux recently, too, though in a slightly different form. Last night saw Richard Aengus whirling and zipping desperately about to avoid two flux bugs on the Dagger's porch. With an epic amount of effort, he managed to lay one bug low with his cane, crushing its chest plate in nicely, and he put one into a nice, permanent sleep with an overdose of fairy dust. On his return home, the king flopped into bed and snored the night away, as a conquering hero should do!

Having had to take the more natural route with the Flux it would seem that Janessa's healing process was a little longer than that of those who had been healed magically. It would be a few days yet before she would fully be on her feet and up to working however, she was quite thankful the doctor had returned ((I know I've been gone forever.. I'll be back soon I swear.. life has been chaotic lately!))
