Unlikely Visitation

Sarayn had timed her trek to the Rememdium perfectly, purposely avoiding Rhaena and all other hopefuls in essence to visit a certain mapmaker, currently comatose in a bed not his own. Upon her entering, a familiar face greeted her with a wide smile.

"Sarayn.. it is been nearly too long since your last visit." Nurse Fairwell mused, extending an affectionate arm in a near maternal fashion, ".. have you come to help with the sick?"

The drowess moved forward and graced her fingers along the other's forearm, sparing a light kiss to the cheek as if a daughter had greeted a mother, and whispered, "No. I am afraid not. I am here to see Glenn Burnie."

"Ah, I see." Fairwell said gravely, ".. I do not know if his friends would appreciate that, I am afraid."

"I understand." Sarayn nodded, "But I will not take a no for an answer. I hope you understand. If you wish to tell them I visited, then that is your choice. But I must continue my hope to make amends. But please.." and she grinned a little, ".. please do not tell him that I am truly concerned when he wakes."

Fairwell smiled in return, "Your secret is safe with me. At least about the true concern!"

Sarayn nodded and ventured into the back without another word and laid her eyes on the sleeping Glenn Burnie, sitting beside his bed in the chair offered to visiting persons.

"Glenn.." she began, ".. it is Sarayn. I have come to visit you if only to say that I am concerned for your well-being. I am afraid I have not a gift to bring you. For what does one bring a once enemy? I unfortunately know nothing about you to even determine what you may like." She waved a dismissive hand and smiled, gently squeezing an arm, "I am sure you will wake up and return to your friends, return to torturing me on a daily basis with your terrible humor." She grinned a little here, ".. not that I entirely mind, of course." She exhaled a small breath, ".. I cannot think of anything else that has happened while you were asleep. Only the... dream. I am wondering if you dreamt too, wondering if that is why you are like you are. When you wake up, I have no doubts that we will speak of it." Anything else? "Oh, I spoke with Tebrin.. and, well, it went considerably well, I think. I do not think he wants to kill me any longer.. and that is a good thing."

"I should quite possibly leave. I just wanted to let you know that I cared.." She stood, and grinned suddenly, "Oh, and you will more than likely owe that drink to Rhaena soon enough. You and Tebrin both. And you know, to tell you the truth.." She began, ".. I am very touched that she would take my side in your silly little bet. That was very unexpected. But I doubt I will ever tell her. Maybe, if you remember anything I've said, you will tell her."

To the door of the room, she sent lingering words over a shoulder, "Get well soon." before stepping out and into the hall altogether. From there, she'd leave the Rememdium quickly.
