Roland, where art thou?
Damien strolled through Myrkentown. His injury was wrapped up nice and tightly in bandages under his rogue's clothing, covering and concealing them quite nicely. No pain showed on his face; to the outside world, he was as good as whole and healthy.
He had long since lost any motive to go anywhere in Myrkentown. At this point, he was still just hoping that Audmawhathehell actually existed. And Damien was hoping to run into that chump bounty hunter again. He was fun. Finally, somebody else who didn't let all that sappy emotion &^%$ get in the way of what mattered.
Damien stopped at an odd noise, and found himself walking halfway into the town graveyard. It didn't surprise him so much that he could've aimlessly -- and quite unintentionally -- end up there, and neither did the man kneeled over by a gravestone not far away. It looks like he was wearing, bones, though...
"Hey! Chum, what're you up to over there?" Damien stopped, propping the ranseur appropriately on his shoulder.
"Hmm?" The man stood and turned. Standard black boots, tan-gray breeches, a black shirt...but, yes, those were definitely bones. Two skulls adorned both shoulders of the man, as well as an exterior ribcage that covered the black shirt. His arms were bare, and had obviously not seen the sun for some time. Black gloves.
His face had, evidentially, not seen that orb in the sky either. His skin was sunken back around his cheekbones, and everything was far too sharp, from his nose to his chin. Hawkish. White hair drifted halfway down his back -- and there wasn't a damned thing angelic about it.
"What can I do for you?" he asked, calmly.
"What the hell're you supposed to be? What's with the bones?"
"Oh, well, isn't it obvious? Come now, surely you've heard all the stories. And we're in a graveyard."
Damien didn't reply to that, but caught a glint of the man's equipment, lying on the ground beside him. A gold-tinted, from the looks of it, although that could very well just be the torches, broad sword, a relatively large checkered shield, shaped like an isosceles triangle with rounded sides, and a fairly plain looking mask less helm.
Damien pointed to the sword and asked the man, "Do you know how to use that?"
"Would I be traveling with it if I did not?"
"How's about we have ourselves a little duel?" Damien figured he might as well make the best out of meeting this...strange man.
"Hmm. I'm a little tired. But they might be interested..."
The strange main pointed behind Damien, and Damien naturally turned -- behind him were three grinning skulls, attached to amazingly intact skeletons, all of which as dismantled themselves just enough to use unimportant structural bones as weapons.
Damien brought the ranseur into place, quickly, and took a step back from the three grinning...undead things. "What's your name, necro?"
"Thamior. You like to fight, that much is apparent -- so I hope you don't mind the skeletons. Have fun; I'll lose control of them once I'm too far away."
And with that, the man equipped himself with the shield, sword and helm and simply...walked off.
The skeletons, on the other hand, advanced, and Damien shrugged.
"You don't see this everyday. I guess I can't complain..."
