Inquisition of the Dead.

Inquisition of the Dead.

Nash Bellevard sat at the table, admiring the warped blade that was attached to a Medusa-shaped hilt. At first, the blade felt wrong in his hands, but years of use and blood-spilling made anything fit over time.

He was a noble--or, that's the guise he used. The rich new politician without a worry in the world, because he could put on a smile for the people he hosted at parties, or attend the local meetings in short order. Handsome, rich, and debonaire. There was little that looked that this man could hide.

Looks can be deceiving.

Funding the group of Demon-Hunters alongside Captain Alexander Kanashia, and leading the men would not be a problem. The problem was having them all work in unity--training them, training himself. There was a lot of work to be had, but he was almost certain that there was little in the way of their efforts. They were a powerful, cunning group. And they could only grow over time.
I refuse to believe this is as good as it gets.
