Assassination attempts foiled again

Many events seem to be hitting the Myrken Wood citizens. The elf seemed to be not excluded of them. Upon attempting to get Lt. Kilborn to let her go with Ari to the goal, it seems a would be assasin took and shot at the elf and downed her. She took a bolt to the back. Thankfully it did not kill her out right as the assassin had hoped. Lt. Kilborn rushed to the aid of Aeri and attempted to capture the assassin, unfortuate for him the ruthless killer was well armed and got a clear shot of the man. Both arrows seemed to be laced with poison.

The knight in no armor, namely the one called Dhugal stepped in and found Aeri upon the floor. The frenchmen quickly turned a table over to act as a shield so the attempted killing would be for naught. Once the battle was over. Dhugal scooped Aeri up and took her too the Edificium. The one called Birch, a Canthric Engineer and Captain-Lieutenant had been waiting at the Edificium for Aeri to speak to her of Miss Alexi Rose. The man was also a druid and used what little magic he had to help both Aeri and Kilborn. The good doctor took over and used leeches to draw out the rest of the poisons and stitched the two up.

Leon Chaser and Harva`II had given aid to Lt. Kilborn in the tavern or it would surely of been the mans death. The poison had a chance to set in before he was given medical attention.

The elf had faded in and out of darkness, yet managed to give Birch a locket that held secrets of the elf and who she truely was.

With great care and recovery of the wound, the elf would at least be up and on her feet in a few days. Lt. Kilborn's condition has yet to be stated.
