A Flame in The Night
It happened in the deepest part of night.
It was a rest break for the workers and they
had left the still rising orphanage walls
for the food so nicely supplied by Alexi Rose
for the crew, so no one was near them when
the clay pots hurtled out of the darkness to
shatter against wood and stone.
Before anyone could run back to investigate the
source of the sound,a flaming arrow arched
out of the woods, to be followed by a second
and a third,and flames sprang to life all along
the construction.
They burned hot and hard,and one of the older
workers screamed a dreaded word.
"Naptha!"
Not a man was injured, for none even dared try
to quench that chemical spawned fire.
The fires would still be burning well into the
next afternoon.

Rose Manor remained silent in the onslaught of the ruined construction of Rose Justice Orphanage. It was a crime that had been committed twice over. Why there was no sign of Alexi or Messina Rose was becoming a vicious problem among the workers who held back the crowd gathering outside the estate's iron fences.
The men could do nothing to put out the chemical flame, holding masks over their nose and mouth they waved people back from the Estate's gate. A crowd was gathering due to the heat from the site. - Kanashia's funds twice spoiled by the crime of arson. Who could hate the thought of an orphanage so much? Who could hate the children of the town so much that they would destroy a future haven of rest for little wanders? These are the questioins Alexi would ask.
And where were the Roses while it continued to burn into the late afternoon of the next day.
