Shew stared down sliently from the rafters, watching his beloved sign slowly sway back and forth as it fell to the ground. "Rotten little bugger...", he said watching through the window of the tavern. He had spent that last two weeks living in the rafters of the tavern, living off of small bits from the larder, and now some greedy, snot nosed, inconsiderate brat, had gone and tore down his sign...
Given the next opportunity, Shew snuck out through the tiny fey door on the side of the tavern, and hung the sign again, this time... higher. Over a nice little surprise in the wall, should the little bugger come around again to remove the ad. "We'll see about this young termite..." The shrill voice of Captain Alvan Shew said, safely at home again in the rafters, "We shall see. I weren't the Captain of a derigible fer nothin'..." He sat, silently in the rafters from then on, watching his sign whenever the chance came to him...
