Advertisements Abound

undefinedundefinedThe Public Board was littered with all sorts of odd things. One was sure to find the unexpected. To a merchant these public postings could very well be the best form of bread and butter.

It was late that night. The horses rested in the stables, and the men that accompied the merchant awaited outside the Dagger for their Lady Fair.

Inside there had been a buzz of patrons. Glorious yes. To someone who could swindle the knickers from a werewolf without much of a flash of steal. And so there she was, fingers trailing through the tacted up pieces of parchment. She's crafted a fine letter upon rice paper. Something she'd aquired from a trunk upon Hexal Island.

She read, the following, where Advertisement abounds surely would amusement.

One, Ostrich for sale. Quick, feathery, ridding saddle extra.

"What on earth? An Ostrich?" She continued down the board.

"Not so Ancient Runes, hexed with a spell of enchantment. Free to anyone who wants them."

Alexi paused. Eyes scattering across the patrons inside the Dagger. Who in the bloody hell had invaded the town? Circus clowns? She nearly choked on her own words as she continued to scan the advertisements.

"Family Fun for all At the Mryken Town Circus. Bearded Lady, A pig that can talk, Little people tumbling contest, and the uttermost amazing Corn Maze at the edge of Mrken at Farmer Jacob's."

"Where the blasted hell am I?" The noble woman uttered under her breath with a sudden amused snicker. She just shook her head in a light mild mannered way. Placing her own advertisement to the outer corner of the board. It read in her own hand these crafty words.

" Spread the News, What was once Lost is now Found. Coming SOON, HEXAL ISLAND ARTIFACTS. "

That was all there was for now. Hexal Island Artifacts. A smile crept up on the merchants shrewd lips.

"Welcome home Alexi. Welcome home" whispered under curious gazes across the assortment of postings. She mingled in with the patrons, once again.
