Tavern patrons, visitors and residents, will no doubt be aware of some... landscaping that has occurred in the vicinity of the tavern, two nights ago. A gouge in the earth, a violent gash that stretches from near the porch away to the treeline, a dozen feet deep, half again as wide, lined for yards to either side with scattered soil and stones. The trees that lie at its end are splintered, mangled and torn to matchwood churned into the mud.
It's impressive, certainly. And perhaps more than a little frightening that it could have appeared so suddenly.
