An ending

[Tyralor]

It was simple enough truly.

The guards had arrived on the scene shortly after the scream of one individual, and discovered, much to their surprise, two individuals standing over a corpse, none too far from the infamous Broken Dagger.

Calandra, startled perhaps by the guards, reacted with what could be described as shocked, and dropped a bloody dagger to the ground at her feet.

Sill, in a similar condition, didn't react much better, dropping objects believed to have been lifted off the corpse, shortly before the arrival of the guards. Articles that included a broach, a wedding band, and a pouch. The pouch, matched the fragments of another one nearby, which had been minorly burnt.

The corpse itself, despite some burns to the facial region, was identified positively by Aeri, the healer who had trailed with the guards, and shortly thereafter, by Dhugal, a man of close association with the victim. Tyralor Ashley Shannon McDougal, husband to Quincy McDougal.

Itanya Blade, and Biske were also present, and both would be able to claim the same as the others.

The body had been killed by a singular blow from a dagger. A stabwound to the chest, that had no doubt, penetrated his heart. the only benefit from this particular piece of information, was that it would debunk the theory that Tyralor was a Heartless Arrogant, Cold, Vicious man. Now he'd only be Arrogant, Cold and Vicious.

Calandra and Sill, were immediately picked up for the crime of murder, and there was probably little immediate reason to doubt that they are indeed the culprits at hand.

Two rumours already starting to grow, indicate that at least one of the women was a permanent resident in Tyralor's household, and may have been jealous of the man marrying another woman. Such a rumour should be easily dismissed however, due to the fact it does not explain why the other woman would be robbing the corpse. The other was perhaps a trace bit more viable, with Sill being caught by Tyralor's mistress in the act. this wasn't truly any likelier than the previous commentary, since it was reasonably well known that Sill and Calandra were family.

Neither woman, has made any statement as of yet. The body itself has been taken to the morgue and is watched over for now.
