A Brief Request.

A Brief Request.

It is passed into a barkeep's hands, this slip of folded paper. A circle of unmarked wax seals it from his view, but he will know into which hands it must be delivered, because it bears the name Vraal upon its front, and because a handful of coins has inspired his memory. Within, there reads a very simple request:
Ser Vraal.

It seems we share more than lodgings; it is suggested to me that we should meet.

I would welcome this.
A date features; a time does; a very simple signature, at the end of it all.

Vraal regarded the message with a mild twist of slender lips. His servant had done well, and quickly. His smile erupted into a bemused chuckle - if only the bearer knew the true nature of the silver serpent.

A few more coins ensure the barkeeper's willingness to play the part of messenger. He writes, curtly, suspiciously, but willing to consider her proposition:

Stranger,

I am not in the habit of meeting strangers. I cannot imagine who you are or what business you want with me. However, as I am newly arrived and wish to be accomodating to the customs of this place, I agree to said meeting at the previously mentioned time and place.

Peace be to you in these chaotic days,

Vraal.
If you are near to the dark
I will tell you about the sun
You are here, no escape
From my visions of the world
You will cry, all alone
But it does not mean a thing to me...
