Keira` was devastated. Her only love sent home from the battle with the horde, and his body was cold and lifeless. Stephen, her Fiance was gone forever.

As they laid him in the ground and a woman sang a lament, Keira` let the hot tears flow freely down her face. Her future now was uncertain at best. No husband to look forward to, and no children, could she ever be happy? Only time could tell.

She swore to herself she wouldn't sit around and wait for another man to provide for her, she would work and make a future for herself.

After a few months of grieving, her heart still heavy, she was now stable enough to go back to work. Back to the Broken Dagger. She picked up her shawl and headed out of the house and down the road to ask for her job back.
