Silent strides drew him along the corridors of the dreaming...wisps of shadow and mist clutched at his cloak in passing...the tendrils releasing their hold reluctantly as he moved further upon his path....
~Galacia....Ahhh, DreamWitch....your ways have not changed with the passage of years....Partaking of the chaotic energies of others through those most innocent moments of awareness....~ a shake of his head accompanies the thought of that dark one....~A bringer of pain and sorrow, is she....And it would seem that the people of this realm know little of her ways...perhaps even less of her desires...her needs...~ It would be simple enough to say that her presence here spoke of another strange quirk of Fate....In the past their meetings had held little lasting pleasure for him...and without a doubt far littler enjoyment for the witch within the dreaming...
Offers a soft murmur as he moves through these ever-shifting hallways....his voice winds it's way through these paths among the dreamscapes...."Soon enough, Dark Dream Mistress....soon enough..."

Tendrils of inky black drifted upon an unnatural wind. The fabric of tattered sleeves reaching out across the darkness of the Dreaming, their color somehow deeper, darker, than the night. Ivory fingers beckoned, obsidian talons glistening with some unseen light.
~Mabon. How good of you to come. I was beginning to think you had forgotten about me. Did the nightmares of the children bring you? Or did you just miss me?~
Footsteps seemed to echo across the distance between them, though her bared feet barely touched the ground in front of her. A smile touched full lips, exposing needle sharp teeth, transforming the action into a strangely feral grin.
~Or better still...did you come for her? Have you not faced enough of your demons? Have you not dealt yourself enough pain? You were free of her. It would be foolish to begin again. But then you always were a foolish man.~
~Go home, Mabon. Leave the Dreaming to those of us with some style. Some flare. Some originality. Some one who appreciates the sorrow.~
Arms would cross over a bared belly, the tattoo of a serpent curled at the center. Softer, less noticable tattoos almost writhed around it. Their rust color nearly diappearing in the dim light.
~She doesn't need you anymore, Mabon. And I know I certainly don't. ~
Laughter, sharp, abrasive, like glass being crushed beneath a bootheel, flowed across the void.

~Twas the rising cries of innocents that have drawn me, Galacia...It took small consideration to see your hand in such...~ the shifting darkness reluctantly revealing his pale form to the Dream Witch...
A sharp shake of his dark head as he stepped forth...the cloak that had shrouded him earlier, discarded in the passage....An ebon darkness gazed upon Galacia...the pale features composed with no hint of welcome nor anger in the meeting....The subdued light of the dreaming reflected off the black leather of his pants and boots as he moved closer...His unruly mane traced it's way over his shoulders and down his back...dark strands brushed the trio of black roses that graced the porcelain skin of his chest as he approached...The voice that wound it's way about her offered a caress of a promise...
"Take care, witch....You would do well to not wear out your welcome in my domain....As we both know how poorly you have fared beyond the realm of dreams...." a dark laugh accompanied these words...a pause as he paced an arc about her...the steps measured with a feline ease of movement...
A shift in the tone of his voice as he continued....a measure of sarcasm in his taunting words...."Can you even recall the pleasures of the outer world, Galacia? Or is it that which poisons you so?" the smile he gave her then was malevolent....no shard of humour within his eyes to ease the icy intent...
"Speak not of what you do not understand, Dream Witch....My path has never been one which you might understand....nor is it or that of the lady toward whom you bear such jealousy, open to your view....Do not presume to know what the future might hold, Galacia..."

She turned from the edge of night without lingering further. The long nights had seemed endless until now. His chill touch upon her check still remained, though hours had passed. A cabin, he had said. . .
Footsteps deepened the path's reluctance to allow her passage. The cinnobar cloak brushed away her footfalls, but left a larger trail. Just ahead stood the dark figure she sought. Pausing, she let the sounds of the morning settle around the open moment. He was still the same, and the gilmmering threads of eternal connection shimmered against her awareness.
Softly, she whispered his name. . .
Mabon. . .
