A Letter Sent Afar

It had not been a very hard decision to make, paying the cost, getting the letter of introduction from Governor Cinnabar Calomel, even taking the time to figure out just WHERE to send the missive.

And now it was in transit, this letter from Glenn Burnie to Coriolanus Helstone. Hopefully it would actually reach the man. Hopefully the letter of introduction would be enough to prompt a swift return, and hopefully, it would contain only the first of many, many answers Glenn might get from the former Governor.

Glenn Burnie was lucky; the letter had reached the man in the Aubrey estate not three hours before he was due to ride for Collingford.

There are certain men that can stop him in his tracks, and Cinnabar is one of them.

There are certain topics that can make the man stop, reach for a pen and reply, and this is one of them.

The letter will be sent back to Myrken the next day.
