The Signs Of Mistrust

A piece of parchment was nailed to a post earlier this morning with the following words written in a fluid and hurried script. The bottom of it unsigned and left to wonder.

Dear people of Myrkenwood,

It has been drawn to our attention that we are being misled by our dear Constable and now Governer Calomel. His recent coup allowing him to capture more power for himself. And now he has set himself to force others to die in his stead by battling the Duke Burel and other "enemies" that might be powerful allies had they not threatened his power.

I, myself, will not stand for this, and as such, myself and a few other members of the town are going to begin a resistance against Constable Calomel, and the rest of the traitorous scum he allies with.

As a further reason not to trust him... He has already sentenced one of his own to die for questioning his iron fisted tactics. After burning her alive he was spotted outside, thrashing the corpse into the mud! These mindlessly brutal tactics are unacceptable, and are now costing the lives of many innocent civilians and servants of the town. Who shall be next? A bard? The tea house owner? Or even a governor?

Let us rise up in faith and freedom,
S.

This sign was posted up in front of the blue bard Sabrion's shop, to which he found it, hammer and nail in his hand, by chance of odd coincidence.
