To Councilman Aloisius Treadwell,

Councilman, some months ago we met in the Broken Dagger and the subject of discussion was a sum of taxes due to our town, on behalf of land owned in my name, for these many years neglected. It is my intention to grant you this sum at a time of your convenience. You need only address me in the manner in which I write to you now.

A second matter has presented itself and I would like also to discuss this with you at the earliest opportunity. There is a building within Myrken Wood proper that I have decided to purchase and renovate, with the intention that it be turned into a theatre that might provide a certain, agreeable entertainment to our dear citizens.

Please, make the time to reply,

Varian apBlanc duMonde, Baron

Baron duMonde,

The requested paying of the taxes mentioned earlier would be most appreciated. I thank you for your remembrance of this and heartily accept the delivery of such at my mansion estate at your earliest convenience.

As for a theatre: I would certainly hope to consider myself a patron of such, given my own time on the stage some years ago. I'm quite sure we can find a way to arrange the establishment of this enterprise!

Aloisius Horatio Treadwell,
Councilor of Administrative Sanctions, Myrken Wood
