The Requiem Curae..

The rumor began as an ethereal whisper from the darkness on the far reaches of Myrken Wood. The Requiem Curae.. a mystical syndicate identified by an ancient marking created in dark ages past [*]. Ebon roses left with those who spoke of dark figures, fleeting visionaries boasting fateful kisses.. of sensuality beyond mortal means. Who are these dark gods? What is their purpose? Some speak that they are saviours from the night, wielding darkness as merciless whips and strength only dreamt of by the finest of warriors.. And then even some bedamn the Requieum Curae as being led by blood-sucking predators whose queen bathes in the blood of her victims nightly. But again, who can know the true meaning, the true identities, of those who call themselves crusaders of the Requiem Curae?

And again, some hold to the hope that the loyal servants of the Requiem Curae have come to rid Myrken Wood of the dark-skinned infestation..

Only time will truly tell.
