Dear Madame Swinton

Mon Oct 22, 2007 5:07 pm

Placed in the hands of a messenger boy early this morn, a letter will find its way to the owner of a certain teahouse. Penned in neat, elegant script, sealed in crimson wax marked with a simple 'E'.

Dear Madame Swinton,

I hope this letter finds you well and in excellent health. I would first like to state how much I enjoyed my previous visit, and how I hope another such visit will come at some near point in the future. You are a comforting presence, and it is to you that I turn in what must surely be my darkest hour.

This coming week's end I will be hosting a special guest within my home, and I think that perhaps black will not be so suiting. I have included some basic measurements of my proportions, and I was hoping you might help me find an outfit of a more colourful, cheery nature. Perhaps even a dress. I have no talent for this, and so I beg you for whatever aid and succor you can give. I will stop by a bit later in the week, to see what you might have come up with.

Sincerely and gratefully,
Elspeth von Drakken, Artificer

There is appreciation for the embossed wax, and careful fingers that wish to keep from disfiguring the character of the seal.

The house madame reads from the paper quietly, green eyes warming on the words 'comforting presence' - a revert to the memory of Elspeth leaving the tea house, having handed her a similar compliment before disappearing. It was the first thing to ring true in everything the girl seemed to share that night - but, it did succeed in relaxing Cambree, as do these words. She finished with the missive pretty quickly, and managed to keep it nearby, until she could go upstairs and have a look inside her wardrobe.

Elspeth's sizes are slightly comparable; however, there are places where one woman's curves are greater or lesser than the other's. The teahouse madame is a bit shorter than the artificer, but something might suffice. Cambree rummages for something that can accomodate Elspeth with style. It seems style is important, as the letter explains, for entertaining someone special.

"Something bright and colorful," she fingers through fabrics, "Perhaps even a dress." Perhaps, yes. Skirts and dresses were all this woman owned, as Elspeth will soon find.
