Milo Lirrian had a sterling reputation; he was known as one of Myrken's finest. But reputation aside, he was one of Myrken Wood's finest. So he would let you know, when you did business with him - and many may already have. Ever needed to send a package or letter with the utmost confidence that it would reach its recipient? Milo was your boy. He wasn't the finest courier in Myrken Wood for nothing! That's right - it didn't matter if you were Suede Roschen battling conspiracy charges against the Order of Straka, or even Audmathus himself, Milo would get the package delivered. Though he would personally prefer avoiding direct business with Drow, as they seem to have a habit of random violence.
He had two letters, both recipients linked together by a job. One was in the neighboring Derry - Milo found another courier boy to take that one, passing off the letter. True, it wasn't the most secure practice, but Milo knew the other letter would be taking up his time and most of the boys knew that Milo's standing could doom their careers if bad words were said. This is why, perhaps, people are trusting of courier boys; their business, simply, is a business of trust. When one breaks that trust, well, they don't get work anymore.
This assignment would prove to be one of his hardest, he figured; but that didn't matter. Milo Lirrian would persevere, and this letter would get delivered. Unless the recipient died first (it's happened plenty of times before).
