Rumors abound in this day and age, as they have always done - drow, insects, vampires, other things that stalk the night. It was just one of many.

The rumor that the General had fallen ill with the flux had long been confirmed, though not too many were worried - "'E's like it t'survive outta anybody, an' 'sides, they gots that cure". And the cure had been administered, the tak grew more positive, confident. The General was doing -well - or, as well as anyone could hope to be, when it came to the Flux.

But now the talk was hushed and frightened, rumors flying - the General had taken a turn for the worst, lately. Much worse - some were even claiming that he was already dead.

And what would happen if he succumbed?
