Of last night's festivities.

Of last night's festivities.

By morning, rumors flew of what had occurred last night at the tavern during it's All Hallow's Eve festivities. An outcry of horror and dismay for the prophecy that had been made and Elven woman who burned and yet did not.

Those who gave witness will speak of the woman who stepped into the bonfire's flames and spoke of doom, though few could remember all the details in their shock. Something about insects and the writing upon a sword, of a woman who bled blood that was not her own. A small few have decided to focus their frustration and worry upon the Elfling as rumors fly of witchcraft and her being the cause of all these troubles and why not? Was it not she who knew of all these signs that had some horrific way of coming true?

In the day's early light, the tavern's staff will reluctantly work to place the yard back to rights ... removing the furniture brought out for the occassion and taking down the various decorations. An attempt to life the town's spirits had only left them spiralling further into dismay. Such is life in Myrken as many will reluctantly tell you.
Failure lies not in falling down, but in not getting up.
