A Request from a Lieutenant

It took some time, for the Lieutenant to figure out what to say. How to word it in a flowery manner. How to be politically correct, whatever that notion was. How to present himself with the best foot forward. His usual source for inspiration was still, unavailable for all that he wished otherwise. In the end, it was with bluntness, he decided to send forth notices to Guillaume, O'Cynen, Bromn, and the recent Elect, Marquis. Not surprisingly, leaving a certain individual off the list, though he suspected he would be there nonetheless. And one or two others besides, should his request be acknowledged and accepted.

Simple and direct.



Honourable Councilmembers of Myrken Wood

I have matters of important nature to discuss with the Council, in regards to the Governor Alexander Kanashia.

I would urge the council to meet at the earliest convienance so that this matter may be settled.

The letters that had been sent out went by the usual manner, which ment in it's round about way, that a certain clerk would find at least one passing through his hands. The parchment would be read, quickly, information catalogued in his head before it was resealed carefully and sent along it's intended path. Some hours later, at the end of his shift, another missive would be added to the outgoing pile.
