Honorable Rondeau Spier
Councilor of Trade and Commerce

Greetings and good health,

Sir, I write to you in growing consternation. I apologize if my words are misplaced, but I fear my concern is most assuredly not!

I have recently received word that my merchants are running afoul of Heath's commerce authorities! They claim that Myrken caravans are under suspicion for transport of illegal goods, or possibly services, and many of my men are held up even now in Threminor!

I have heard similar complaints from a few of my colleagues, to various degrees. This is an outrage! I would never deal in stolen goods!

Please help! Those fools must be shown the civilized light of reason!

My sincerest thanks for your time and attention in this matter,

William James Heffron III

Greetings, sir.

I have forwarded your letter to the esteemed Councillor Giscard, newly serving in the capacity of Councillor of Trade and Commerce, and brought my own complaints to him as well.

Hopefully we shall be able to soon resolve this matter.

Councillor Spier
